I went to this nail salon on March, 16, 2020. Ann did a great job with my pedicure, but the receptionist told another lady to do my nails. I found a picture on Pinterest and really liked and asked them to replicate the design. My thing is it would have been fine if they were unable to, but they tried and my nails looked a mess. The lady who was supposed to do them didn’t want to do my nails I guess and so I suffered. Cut my skin around my nail bed which caused bleeding. 🙄
Then another lady tried to fix the design still a hot mess. My nails looked like my two year old had a field day. I went back today because they said they would fix them for free, well they did I guess. Lynn did my nails and she was very sweet and made good suggestions but overall I will never return.

I am actually in disbelief that a nail lady had the audacity to let me walk out like this. A little kid would have done a much better job than this. On top of that, the lady cut my skin multiple times and it hurts. I am demanding a refund tomorrow or I will dispute the charge. This is an absolute joke. However, the lady at the front was very nice and offered to have them redone tomorrow, but I do not trust this place to touch my nails again, I’m in pain. Only reason this place deserves even one star is because of her kindness. Other than that, how in the world in this place in business?!

I've been here several times and I've had nothing but good experiences! I love this place for several reasons:
The salon is clean and updated.
They always take their time but they're not slow. Several salons are skimpy with the leg massages, but not here.
I've never had to wait to get started (I left a busier salon because I got tired of waiting an hour or more just to be seated).
Definitely recommend

I walked in with a design/look like mind and a picture on my phone. Lyly did a fantastic job of making my nails even more beautiful than the pictures! I can't say enough good things about Village Nail Bar.

This is my FAVORITE nail place in Tuscaloosa!! LyLy is my favorite mani and pedi tech, she is the BEST hands down!!! I would highly recommend her to EVERYONE, but I need her to be available on Saturday mornings for me ladies, ok?! Seriously tho, she's amazing with the massages!!!
