I went yesterday to get a fill in because I didn’t have time to go to Northport to my usual place. I needed a fill in before I left for the holidays. The aesthetics of the store isn’t great, but I can handle that. But there were gnats in the sink. My nails really didn’t look that great afterward. And half the time the lady ranted about getting pulled over and said some inappropriate things towards cops. Half my family is LEO, so I didn’t like it, but I just dealt with it all because I didn’t have time. However, I’m now headed back into town because my one day old gel fill in is peeling off. I’m going back to the place I always go to.

These people are so rude here i dont recommend them brought my child in here with me and they acted so rude bcs i had my 2 year old with me.!!!!!!!!

Absolute worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. The gentleman did a poor job. He was very rough with my hands. He buffed my nails so hard he ripped off the acrylic one. He argued with me about what I wanted done. The first time he painted my nails, it was with nearly dried out polish, that was the consistency of elmer's glue. The second time, he missed spots on my nails, it was not opaque, and it was streaky. I finally just said let's just paint them a plain color, because the shades you have in the range I want just aren't working. The woman in the store came over, grabbed my things, and asked me to move to another table. I assumed she was going to fix his mistakes, since it just wasn't going well. Nope. She told me they were going to take them off, and I could just leave. At this point, I was incredibly angry. I couldn't believe that they would think the work they did was acceptable, and that she was behaving in such a fashion. I really hate complaining, but the job he did was mediocre at best, and I felt like he wasn't listening, and the Polish they had wasn't very high in quality. I left incredibly upset.
Luckily, another nail salon across town I called told me to come and they would fix it. That salon was willing to stay an hour after closing to fix my nails. The guy at the second salon kept making sure he wasn't hurting me (he wasn't), but he kept asking because my hands were so beat up. I should have just started at the salon across town, because they were so sweet and they did a stellar job.
