Willow has been my go-to salon in Eugene for the last six years. After moving here and trying stylists at different spots around town, I finally found what I was looking for. All of the stylists are warm and friendly, greeting each client who walks through the door. One of the best parts of the experience there is watching just how talented they all are and seeing what kind of magic they can work with their hands.
Helen, the owner of Willow, is my stylist and I cannot say enough about her skills, both cutting and coloring hair. She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced having worked in salons in Australia, Europe, The Bay Area, and LA. In short, she knows what she’s doing and anyone sitting in her chair is quite fortunate. In an effort to determine her clients’ desired outcome, Helen takes the time to look through pictures, discuss different options, and offer her opinions on what will look and work best for the individual.

I have been seeing Helen at Willow Hair since she arrived in Eugene and even before she opened her own business. She is gifted, talented and professional. I have had many variations of color for my brunette hair and am continually impressed in how much Helen can assess and examine my hair and determine just the right combination of colors to make it look natural. The color blends beautifully with my own and covers my gray hairs. The salon is CLEAN, and modern and the stylists in the salon are always busy and courteous.

Since I started getting my haircut at Willow, I have literally had random people stop me while I'm grocery shopping to ask to take pictures of my hair to show their stylists. I'm not someone with a lot of knowledge of or language about hairstyles but still kind of particular about the outcome (I want it to be cute AND easy), and Sarah H. is infinitely patient in talking with me and looking at pictures of ideas until she's sure we're on the same page. She's clear, knowledgeable, and honest about how a cut is going to look with the texture of my hair and the amount of time I'm willing to put into upkeep so that I get a cut that I love that is also realistic for my lifestyle.

When I moved to Eugene, I had the worst time finding a good stylist/salon. Luckily, I found Willow and have been a loyal client for 10 years. Helen is very skilled, consistent and kind as are all the stylists there. I will not let anyone else touch my hair! The salon is very welcoming and they have the best products as well.

It is a pleasure for me to recommend willow hair and really any of the stylists that work there.
They are all very professional in the way they treat their clients, as well as each other.
My stylist is the owner Helen Wegener, and her work is always perfect. I like to change my style often, and she always spends a lot of time on my consultation.
In the 5 years I have been a client at willow hair, I always received incredible service, and a great cut. Helen is always keeping up to date on what is current in styles, but will always adjust the style to suit my needs. I don't use product or blow dry my hair, which she always takes into consideration.
I do use the shampoo and conditioner recommended to me, and have been very happy with the way they smell, and make my hair feel.
