I had an amazing experience with Michael the other day. Best pedicure I have ever had! It didn’t feel rushed at all. Very thorough and the leg massage and the neck/back massage at the end were on point!!! I love how I never feel like I’m being rushed through just to get to the next client. I’ve been going here for years and never wrote a review before. It’s the best place in Stafford. Especially if you want to feel pampered!

I had gotten my nails done with dip powder and had them for about three weeks at a different nail shop. They were lifting and I decided to find a place to get them taken off. I came across Escape Salon yesterday (March 10, 2019) when I was leaving Massage Envy and decided to go check them out. I inquired if they could take off the dip powder and how much it would cost. The lady that serviced me (cannot remember her name) directed me to station 16 and proceeded to pry the dip polish off my nails with an acrylic nail and cuticle nipper. This was very painful and anyone that was paying attention to me would have notice I was uncomfortable and in pain. I asked if this was the only way to get it off, she responded saying "yes, that's the only way". Mind you I don't get my nails done often and didn't know any better, this was my first time getting dip powder. My nails continued to hurt for the rest of the day and even WASHING my hands hurt and continue to today. After a little google search, I found that PRYING the dip from my nails IS NOT the only option and that there are other less painful ways to get the dip off. Not only was I lied to, the lady that serviced me clearly didn't care that she was causing damage to my actual nails and wanted me out of the chair quick since I wasn't getting anything else done.
The one pro I will say is the place has a nice ambiance, as well as complementary drinks and snacks if you get a full service. For that I will give them one star. Other than that, I will definitely NOT be visiting this location ever again.

The main reason I'm commenting is actually because of another review.
Nathalie Williams:
I understand why you were unhappy with your service and I'm sorry that you didn't have a nice time. However, even if you were unhappy with the service and the technician, you don't need to be hateful with your 'he/she' comments. I'm not sure why you felt the need to draw attention to their gender identity at all as it doesn't affect how they provided the service. That's a horrible and damaging way to talk about someone and speaks more about your character than it does about the way that person identifies. Why does their identity bother you so much that you want to damage their sense of selfworth and self love, in addition to them being treated that way by so many others?
Some useful pronouns to refer to others by: They, them, that person, (in this case) the technician.
As for Escape Salon, I enjoy this salon and am looking at scheduling another appointment. It had a nice ambiance and felt luxurious for a girls day.

This is the place to go if you don't have a reservation and need to get in quickly. They have lots of staff and someone is always available, especially for pedi's. The only point I would make is that if you don't purchase something other than the basic pedicure, it seems they don't spend quite as much time on you as they would if you spent more money.

First time ever going to a spa & was looking into some self care for myself to have as a monthly routine & their ‘surprise him’ spa package you really do get to enjoy the time to yourself & after , will leave you feeling amazing. You get to be in a massage chair during the pedicure & a drink with a nice relaxing massage to end it off
