The reviews but wow! I’m ok for paying for something if you are happy but I left in tears. I wen because my hair was very dried and brittle from a previous dye job a few months ago so I went to get it fixed. The girl told me yes she can fix it, she would make it all one color but ! But! When it washed off it had a red tint to it. As I’m blow drying she takes me and recolored the we hair again and this time it made it worse, it had a purple tint to it. I can see she felt bad and wanted to correct it but o didn’t see me doing this a third time. Never said about going darker until after it was a mess. Then the girl that blow dried says I can do a treatment for $75. I agreed but they had no idea of it should be done before or after the coloring...then she said she will just cut off a few dead end but didn’t say what the charge was, I get downstairs to pay and $75 for the tiniest trim you’ve ever seen. The girl didn’t charge me for the messed up dye job but I paid &150 and left with tears.

Ona is AMAZING with natural hair. The staff is fantastic overall. I travel from NY to come here.

WOW!! Best hair experience I have had for such a long time. Ona is such a professional and masterful stylist. I am SO thrilled with this cut and with the whole experience at this salon. Everyone is warm and friendly and professional. I was going from a fairly conservative style to a very short androgynous look and Ona NAILED it. Ive had so many compliments and I am very very happy. Thanks so much.

I was hesitant to visit this salon as I would have to come from the Bronx but it was very easy and manageable to get to, even through public transportation.
I booked my appointment with Ona about two months in advance. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a smile, offered a beverage, and escorted to the main salon floor. In a short minute, Ona came by with a smile on her face ready to consult with me.
The whole experience was truly wonderful! I went in for a "curly cut", as my hair was recently damaged by too much heat and left with much more than a cut. I received tips and advice from Ona, positive energy and vibes throughout the entire visit, and more confident in my look.
I booked my next appointment while I was there! Highly recommend, worth the commute from the city.
