I went to Allure Nail Spa for the first time on a Sunday because it was one of the only salons that was open on a Sunday/later in the day on Sunday. I asked for a pedicure and a shellac manicure.
My pedicure came out amazing— the nail tech was so detail oriented and you could just tell she priced herself in her work. So many times I’ve gone to salons where the nail techs are just trying to go as fast as possible to make more money/tips, but that was definitely not the case with the lady who did my pedicure (seriously loved her! she even gave me a little back massage when I was getting my manicure).
Now, my manicure was a different story. The lady who did my hands clearly did not know what she was doing and did a horrible job. However, Allure Nail Spa earned their 5 stars because they did an excellent job in remedying the situation. I showed them my nails and explained to them that I was very dissatisfied. It was already after their closing time, and they offered to not charge me for my nails and told me I could come in the next day to have them fixed. I explained that I would prefer to pay for the service and for my nails to be done correctly at that time because I had to travel back to Jacksonville that night. The owner said that wouldn’t be a problem and had a nail tech who did a perfect job stay over an hour after they closed to redo my nails (they soaked off the shellac, and redid the shellac manicure, including cutting my cuticles because the lady who initially did the manicure failed to do that as well).
So, all in all, I’m happy with the service at Allure Nail Spa. If a business is able to accept when they have done a service poorly and remedy the situation, they do not lose me as a customer.

****BEWARE!!!*** My wife went here for a pedicure and a full set, as I waited in the car. She came out almost completely in tears. Her nails were only half done and looked horrible, the polish on her toes was done very poorly. She said she told them she wasn’t happy and just wanted to leave. They grabbed her by the wrist and wouldn’t let her walk out the door without paying. So I went back in and while I admit I was very blunt and direct, I told the lady she wasn’t happy and they did a crappy job so I wanted my money back. The lady was extremely rude and essentially told me they don’t work for free. I told her I don’t agree with paying for something that is done poorly and not to my satisfaction. She continued to go on about how they don’t work for free. The only one who spoke good English and actually seemed to have it together was a tech named Johnny. Finally they agreed to soak off everything and said to come back tomorrow and see Rodger (the manager or something) about a refund. Absolutely absolutely ABSOLUTELY!!! Do NOT in any way, shape, or form find yourself reaching for the door handle to this business thinking you’ll have a different experience. We read some bad reviews and thought it would be fine. We couldn’t have been more wrong!!
P.s. If I could give them -stars I would.

I've tried a few other places in town and have received terrible service. I went to Allure today with my mother-in-law and had a very pleasant experience. My nail tech, Tony, was very patient as I needed my previous acrylics removed to put on the new ones. I'm very picky about the shape and Tony sculpted them to perfection. Will definitely be coming back!
Edit: Second trip was not as good. The nail tech argued with me about the shape I wanted and continued to tell me it was ugly. He then proceeded to cut every finger on both of my hands, which left them sore for several days. I think this salon is a hit or miss depending on who you get and what you are wanting.

I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails. I was very pleased with the service I got. The Male nail tech was very patient when I couldn't figure out what color I wanted, he listened to exactly how I wanted my nails, down to the shape, size and thinness. I am very pleased with this nail salon. There are many here in town that I have been too, and I have not been to satisfied with many of them.

I got a mani, pedi, and an eyebrow wax today around when they opened. It wasn’t very busy at all which was a plus. The staff was very respectful and even offered drinks. The actual polish job wasn’t perfect, but it seems that they’re more focused on the experience rather than the outcome. The pedicure was very well done and the massage chairs there were amazing. Everything was alright up until the eyebrow wax. I ended up with wax all over my face. It was down my neck, in my eyes, all done the sides of my face, on my shirt, and in my hair. I didn’t realize until I put my glasses on and wasn’t able to get them off. I got it done by Marie. I’m hoping she was just in a hurry and didn’t really notice, but if this is normal, that’s not okay. My mom got hers done by Johnny and they turned out really great.
