I won't give any nail salon five stars because, frankly, I can do a better job at doing my own gels or acrylic set. Sometimes I just don't feel like hunching over my hands and toes to do them myself so I'll pay someone to do them. I have never had a gel set done professionally and not had them lift at the cuticle or at the end of the nail a few days later. And I've never had an acrylic set stay perfectly sealed at the cuticle bc they never trim the cuticle back well enough before they do the acrylic. No one will be as attentive and as perfectionist as I am on my own hands. It's a trade-off, I feel. Having said that, I went in on a Sun and wanted a mani/pedi French, I asked them how long it would take as I was pressed for time, and in a flash someone was working on my toes and someone was working on my hands right there at the pedi chair! I was out within the hour! They did a good job. As with most nail salons in this town the owners/employees are Vietnamese and the Vietnamese have an entrepreneurial spirit so there will always be in upsell. They're trying to make money just like everybody else is. You just have to go in there determined that you will not spend over a certain amount and politely tell them that you just want what you came in for. All in all, good people and good job.

i went w/ my boyfriends mom the other day and we did the mani and pedi and so we sat in the massage chairs and we both have this itchy bumpy rash and very overpriced. not even from here so never visiting again.

Just went yesterday to try it out as my usual place closed. They charged me 40 for a full set of "something better" acrylic nails. I then ask what the price would be to have them filled in two week and was told it would be 40 every time! Not only over price but I have a cuts on all but 3 finger. Terrible job!!
