I was given a gift card to come to mani pedi Lux to get my nails done as a birthday gift with the hopes of me converting to another nail salon. Henry was the nail technician whi waited on me. Henry was really nice and pleasant but unfortunately he had no idea what he was doing,he was unable to shape my nails and barely was able to put the polish on. My nails are very lumpy and do not look professionally done at all. I definitly think that he does not do acrylic nails but there was not another available nail technician. So it being my first-time there and a (walk in customer) I didn't know that he was "Manicure and Pedicure ONLY" Technician. Needless to say I will never go here again and unfortunately that was my experience and I do hope that this helps anyone that is visiting the mall and thinks that it's a good idea to go get their nails done here...DO NOT.... ( ACADIA Nail Shop is Amazing located in the mall also) Even though some of the other technicians may have been experienced in doing acrylic nails the fact that you would allow him to do it to someone else and have them to pay professional to get this done is appalling. I did reach out to the shop owner and 1as unsuccessful so I went back to speak with her CINDY (owner) in person. My concerns fell upon deaf ears. She actually had a confused look as if she could not understand or comprehend what I was saying. At the end she gave me no apologies for my experience or even a single word. She looked at nails and walked back go her customer she was servicing. I asked her if that was it and she responded by saying " we fix for you"........ Ummm No Thank You.

I went in to get my eyelashes done, the lady seemed like she had no idea what she was doing, it took about an hour to get them done and in the process the glue was burning my eye but it was my first time ever getting them done so i assumed it was normal. Afterwards my eye was killing me and i could not open my eye without it burning. My right eye would not stop watering and after two hours of going thru it i started looking more into it and i had a huge lump of glue on my eye line at the top. i had to rip out a huge chunk of eyelashes out due to the pain. I'm sure they are a great nail salon but DO NOT GET YOUR EYELASHES DONE HERE.

In vacation in the DMV, staying across the street at the crowne plaza. Front desk staff recommended this salon. It's located inside of the mall. The salon is nice and clean, on the shall we side. They offer you water. Gave a wide dejection of gel nail colors to pick from. There was no wait and there were 3 of us getting our nails done.

I now call this nail salon my FAVORITE!! When you walk in to the salon, you don't smell the harsh fumes like some nail salons. The atmosphere looks classy and the prices for each service is really affordable! One of the nail technicians, Ping is so nice and amazing! She takes really good care of my nails and toes. I haven't done the waxing services yet but I will update once I do so.
Update: Everyone in the nail salon is AMAZING!!! And yes the Wax Services are also to die for!
