TERRIBLE!
The girl trimming my nails was using this metal thing, that I'd never seen before, along the cuticle. I feel a very sharp sting and look down to see the skin turning red. She cut all the way across my nail bed on my big toe and REMOVED THE CUTICLE BED. She tries to continue the pedicure and I'm telling her to get away and not to touch me, as I'm completely freaked out and definitely don't trust her. Another girl working there comes along and says she has stuff to clean and treat it. I go sit down and she puts this stuff on it that stings so badly I start crying. She says it'll sting for about 30seconds but will protect the wound and tries to get me to continue my pedicure. Not a chance. I walk out. The crap she put on my foot stung for 45 minutes and that was the point when I removed it with rubbing alcohol.
My skin was purple-black at the point where the cuticle bed was removed for a few weeks. After 3 weeks, I was finally able to wear open-toed shoes without people asking me what happened.
It's been 5-6 weeks and my nail bed is now 2 mm farther back than the nail bed on my right foot. The skin is also a reddish color around this area. They literally deformed me. I'm afraid to ever get a pedicure again.
(Note: They have changed their name to Westheimer Nail and are the location next to Office Depot, behind Sally's Beauty Supply)
