I'm not the kind of person to leave reviews like this but here we go. I went in for a simple acrylic fill and black tip manicure. It took 2 and 1/2 hours. The nails are uneven in spots (mainly on the edges.) From where the girl didn't file the acrylic down enough. I know that this is a school but really I thought they'd be a little more attentive to these kind of things. I also had to file the sharp edges that she left when I got home.

They are the best...Joyce and Mary are the most wonderful people you can imagine. I can go there feeling down and come home feeling like I'm treated like a Queen.

I was here today, and the girl doing my toenails did the gel nail polish. When she was finished, I was SHOCKED... They were not cleaned up, and there was so much nail polish around my toe nails. I do not recommend this place, I’m very dissapointed with the result even asking her to clean it up after I finished.

When pampering, hospitality, and Awesome service come together they spell The Joy of Beauty Salon & Nail Academy. This was by far,the best experience I have had ever! I had a mani and a pedi. I felt very relaxed and after the foot massage I was on Cloud 9. They took their time and made sure everything was perfect (which it was) I was treated like I was the queen and believe me, I felt like a queen for the first time in a long time. The owner was on site observing & making sure my services were like no other. Her expectations are high and it shows. I already have my next appointment booked and so should you! You will not be disappointed. Don't you and your nails deserve exemplary service?

The lady that did my nails was so rude and did a terrible job. The owner had to step in and finish filing my nails. She also cut a lot of corners.
