If I could give ZERO stars I would! Worst experience of my life! I can't blame the students and I get that is it a school and not a 'Professional Hair Salon' but these teachers and staff are suppose to be licensed cosmetologists. I guess if that is the truth, then this school is just cheap. I went in for color and the teacher helped the girl doing my hair 'mix' the color. Little did I know when the 'mix' color that really means they are adding water to it to make it go further. Well I am not a licensed professional by any means but even I know you DO NOT add WATER to hair color. Needless to say it did not take to my hair and I was told 'If I want professional work, go pay professional prices'. So sad that this is what they are teaching these students that are trying to make a career out of it. NEVER again will I go for service at Academy of Hair Design nor would I ever recommend it to anyone else. My advice is to RUN as fast as you can AWAY from Academy of Hair Design! HORRIBLE! They should feel ashamed and embarrassed!

I am here each week. Should have been told they put someone in front of me so while i was waiting i could have had my fingers and toes done. This is a rude ugly. Mean way to treat regular clients.
I came in today to get service spoke with the owner. It was my mistake in not speaking with him when the problem happened last week the matter has been cleared. The school fully deserves a5 star rating. I will keep comming here and when asked where i have my hair done i will proudly say. Terrance. P at academy of hair design. I thank mr john for taking the time and showing such special concern for me as a client .

Multiple bad experiences. Got a wash & a trim... and i definitely left with way more split ends than i walked in with. The ends of my hair look horrible, & i have thick healthy hair that i don’t dye or use heat on. Oh yeah and i waited over an HOUR. Done with this place.

I had services done at AHD about three weeks ago and I want to compliment everyone involved. The first was a man on the phone (Johnny). He was extremely pleasant, answered all my questions and gave me exact directions. When I arrived, I was greeted by a woman at the desk, Brandy, who was extremely pleasant and helpful. The student that provided my color correction was named Samantha. Both she and Ms. Suzie did an excellent job, explaining the entire process. I have been getting services at beauty schools since I was a teenager (I'm now 70) and this was my best experience. Their price for my service was 1/3 what I had been quoted at another school. I will definitely be returning.

Great Large and open space. Decore is nice too. The staff is all very friendly and the teacher are very detailed. An affordable school that I will be sending my daughter to for the next session. I know this is her path to a better life. I want to thank the staff for the tour today and putting my mind at ease . Cheers!
