Rare Rootz is amazing. Amber is truly wonderful at her craft. She is gentle in my hair when it's knotted & she doesn't yank it like other salons who claim to do natural hair do. She does a fantastic job each time my husband, my daughter, or myself get our hair done & there's really no other place I would rather go. The salon is clean & beautiful & not far from 95. I recommend this place 100%.

Rare Rootz salon is the ultimate experience. The stylists are friendly, professional and love what they do! Thank you Maliya for helping me start my loc journey and educating me on how to maintain my Locs in between appointments!!!!🧡🙏🏾

My stylist was great! On time, wore her mask the entire time, not too much talking and overall just a nice vibe. This is the FIRST time I had a stylist braid my hair and had NO plaits fall out. She knows true natural 4C hair and didn’t trim all my hair off. I am about to book a wash, deep condition and trim right now haha. Highly recommend!

Is amazing , I am from Cincinnati Ohio I am a current stylist at Rarerootz natural hair studio offering services from traditional braiding styles loc groom , and extension services. You all might be wondering how did I start or find Rare rootz ? Well it literally begun with a simple google search and I typed “natural hair salon near me”, I came across “Rare rootz “ and was instantly lead to this beautifully laid out booking site and I seen the reviews about the owner and the atmosphere of the shop. Where I am from we aren’t blessed with a soul like Ms . Rootz honey ! She so cold with the locs and her customer service is heaven sent from the phone call all the way up to the end of my appointment , this woman has an amazing gift and I am honored to be working in her establishment where I am growing and learning literally everyday! And not to mention the positive confident affirmations she gives her stylist to keep going just makes me proud every day that this was the right step in my path! Thankyou Amber !
