Only giving two stars because there are a FEW technicians there who really do a good job, and for the most part everyone has always been friendly to me here. I've had a few bad experiences here but today was the final straw. Not only did he cut FOUR of my cuticles to the point of bleeding with the drill, he sliced open THREE of my fingers with the nail file from rubbing against my skin so hard. I didn't want to be rude and say anything but it was so bad my blood was on his glove. Unacceptable in my opinion. Additionally, I requested a coffin shape and when comparing hands my fingers look nothing alike. One hand has long thin nails while the other is short and stubby. My error for not saying anything while I was there, but regardless this shouldn't be the standard if I'm paying $45 for a fill. I will be seeking out a new salon after today.

The fumes when we walked in really took me aback. If they have a ventilation system, it's not sufficient. I developed a nasty, toxic headache waiting for my daughter. I feel guilty she's inhaling it too. Tried to crack the door a few inches. One of the techs complained he was cold and they closed it. We will probably go back to our old salon. Further for us, but better ventilation (better for our health).

I used to go to Lovely Nails in the same shopping center but a change in work hours and baseball schedule made me change to Asian Retreat because they are open an hour later. The quality is not consistent and the customer service is not as good as Lovely Nails and has gone down in the past 3 months significantly. Tonight I went in at my usual Monday night time about 7:45. I was told “everybody went home early so can you come back at 9am?” Sure, if I quit my job. I noticed 2 employees standing in the back straightening up towels but the tech at the front said “sorry, no one is here to do fills.” I asked why the door was unlocked and the open sign on if they weren’t taking any customers more than hour before closing. The tech had nothing to say and asked if I wanted to make an appointment Tuesday night. “No I do not, I’ll make an appointment at Lovely Nails.” I saw one of the nail techs lock the door after I hit in my car...more than an hour before 9pm closing.

Horrible and overpriced. I got the deluxe pedicure, and it was obvious she didnt know what she was doing. Very rude. The tech kept answering her phone and looking at her watch. Normally I dont care if people are on their phone as long as they do a great job. This was not the case. I will be going to another salon to get my nails done properly.

It’s just a gamble when you get in there.. they rush through the service and my nails are just sticky and messy looking. I tried to give them another chance but it’s just quantity over quality. Not worth paying for
