Where do I begin!!?? I called at 6pm asking what time they close. They said 7, i was already on my way to get my brows done at another place because they close at 7. So i was like okay nvm i’ll come back when i have time to get my nails done ... the lady “sonya” she wouldn’t give me a last name. But, she said for me to come at 7pm.. when she closes.. I came because i thought this shouldn’t take more than an hour and a half .. i was just getting ombré nails. So i get there at 7.. my sister gets her polish change. I WAIT FOR AN HOUR TO GET MY NAILS DONE. It’s 8pm!!!! On a school night !! I should’ve left after my sister because it took about 30 min to get her started. But i really wanted my nails done and i was already there. I asked her how much it is for what i wanted and she said $40. I said perfect! Any other place would’ve charged $60+ bc of the length and shape etc. So she starts and it’s like an hour and a half in.. she hasn’t even filed them or shaped them. She keeps applying the powder and it’s getting real heavy on my nail. She kept messing up and making the ombré uneven. It started to look like a kid was trying to blend colors... So when she’s almost done!! She decides to say she doesn’t like it and that she doesn’t want me to walk out of there like that. I agree. it was trash. Especially for her to take over 2 hrs on it. So i just had her put a shellac over it.. Which i didn’t even want. but the ombré was trash. I didn’t get what i wanted both times. So i ask her if i can get a discount for waiting an hour to start on my nails.. and not getting what i initially wanted in the beginning. She flat out said NO. she said that she did give me a $6 discount which made my total for my nails $38. BUT if it was initially $40 how is it $38... For just my nails. She was getting her numbers wrong. She was playing me. I said well i didn’t get what i want in the first place so i feel like i should get something off.. And she said well i can take them off if u want me too in a rude way. as if she was tired of me. Mind you it’s like 9:50pm right now.. I said you know what yes please take them off. i’m a college student and collrge isn’t cheap so i will use my money wisely and go some place else another day. So she starts to clips the nails off so hard to where i had to ask her to not be so rough. She said that she’s mad bc it’s over 3 hrs of closing. So i basically said if you didn’t want to be over closing she shouldn’t have had told me to come right when they closed. She yells at me saying “ I WANT THE MONEY!! I WANTED THE MONEY!!” But she could’ve had the money the next day... Doesn’t make ANY sense. She said that she was being lazy with my nails in the beginning so that’s why they didn’t turn out right .. IM SORRY BUT IF IM GETTING MONEY FROM SOMEONE, IM WORKING HARD FOR IT. I WILL NOT BE LAZY. Especially on nails. If she didn’t want it to be over 3hrs she shouldn’t have been lazy in the beginning. She was just really rude and her whole mood switched. She started yelling at me and everything. I AM STILL A CUSTOMER so she needs to remain professional !
I do not recommend going to this place.
If you want your nails like how you say you want them, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I mean you walk in to straight heat anyways!
I’m home right now typing with ugly nails because on Sonya. Thanks. I would highly recommend going to Opulent Nails on 290, i didn’t go because they’re always booked and i didn’t make an appointment and it was close to 7 anyways. PLUS they give discounts for being a student ! I’ve gotten bling on my nails and everything for $36 for a full set powder.

Sonia runs a very tight ship and demands perfection from her employees. I've never been disappointed.

Have never had a problem. Nice, clean place. Le Nails across the street actually took walk-ins in front of me and another lady one day. I haven't been back. Go to TLC.

TL Nail & Spa is great. It's not super fancy inside but that's how they are able to keep their prices very competitive. It's always very clean. I never worry about fungus or anything like that. Sonya and her staff want to make their customers happy. They offer many services. They offer refreshments. I've never had a negative experience here. I've been there lots of times. Their pedicure chairs are comfy. Their facials are amazing. My nail art is always cute. The wait, if any, is never long. It's a small quaint shop. They also serve wine if that's your drink of choice during your service. They are sweet ladies. I have nothing negative to say about this salon. I've always had good results and a positive experience. :)
