Today i went to get my nails done at cool springs nails. I read good reviews on yelp and decided to give them a try. I asked for a manicure and pedicure which comes out to 45$. It was the most unpleasant experience i have ever had and the service was the worst i have received in 10 years. From the moment i walked in, the owner Lyn,(who did my pedicure) could have cared less that i was there as a customer. She rushed me into a seat and started my pedicure barely doing any of the steps on the menu for the classic pedicure. The only thing she really did was clean the cuticles. As soon as she did the cuticles she called in an employee to do my manicure, right there in the chair while she painted my toes. It took them a total of 30 minutes to do everything, including french tips on my toes. The girl who did my manicure did not even use the cuticle oil on my nails to remove the cuticles!!! She did such a terrible job with my cuticles that they look ripped and jagged. She did not bother shaping my nails ether. And put on the color hastily so that it didn't cover the nail sides well. After this very hastily and unpleasent service, they did not offer me flip flops. When i asked to use the drier machine they told me my nails where fine and i could go now. After i asked to use it again, they repeated the same. So i asked firmly and they reluctantly allowed me to use the machine. In my ten years of getting my nails done this was the worst experience i have ever had. They where not friendly, did not take their time, and honestly and truly did not seem to care that i just paid them a total of over 50$ for them to take care of me as a customer. On the side note, they have one very lovely lady who works there, Crystal, who took her time and took care of her customer with extreme care. I really wish i would have gotten her instead of the owner, because Crystal seems to care a lot more than the owner does.
End note, don't bother going there if you want to relax or feel pampered.. its not going to happen.

surprised with the negative reviews. I've been there many times, and the service and quality of the work have been outstanding. In fact, going back today.

This salon needs help with customer service. My friend and I made an appointment to use our expired Groupon (which we were told we could still use for the value we paid, not the promo amount), asked about it when we arrived, completed our services and upon time for redemption of the Groupon were told we could not use it. The owner would not accept the Groupon because the salon was under new management. She made no concessions and was not apologetic about it, arguing with my friend. We paid our bill, but will never be back to this salon. There are too many other nail salons with better service and nicer staff.
