Two stars is because I had a great experience working with Annie in the past 2 years and I also appreciate owner's focusing on maintaining a safe and clean environment such as temp check, masks, separation of working stations etc. However, my most recent experience was extremely disappointing and as a result, I will not go back to this Salon again. When I stepped in the building at my appointment time, there was a customer ahead of me. So I waited in line for my turn and I was not acknowledged by any staff the entire time while waiting. There was another customer walked in just few minutes after me. That customer was immediately greeted by the stylist and the stylist told her customer that she can skip the line, don't need to wait and don't need to check the temp. I ended up have to wait for my turn and was required to check my temp. Finally, I met with my new hairstylist and explained what I wanted to do which is to color my roots. After she put my color on, I was told to move to the lobby waiting area which is a very high traffic area. I was very confused because I can always wait at same chair. After I sat down at the high traffic area with crazy looking hair, I realized oh.. she needs to do a hair cut for another customer at her station. So I had to leave to wait at somewhere else to make room for her next customer even though I am still in my appointment with her. I was not comfortable waiting in the high traffic area and I was not happy. Finally, she finished her hair cutting with other customer and came to get me to finish the rest.After washing and styling, we found out that my root was not only not covered at all but also the middle section of my hair turn darker now. My appointment was to cover the dark roots to align with the same color with rest of my hair but now instead, I have dark roots (nothing changed), top section was light and the middle section was darker and the end was light. The reception told me at least its not looking too weird. I look hideous and not professional at all! The whole experience was just very upsetting. Now I don't even have a good option to fix it without coloring my hair again.

This salon is awesome. Very clean, staff is always nice and great customer service. My hair stylist Katie Oosterhouse is wonderful! This is 2nd time I have come here to see her. She cut 10 inches off today and did a full platinum blonde highlight and I love it!

Will is the best and truly knowledgeable. Gives that extra attention and care you don’t expect. He is honest and will advise on what will look best on you. I’ve shown him pictures and he will adjust it accordingly and I look amazing when I walk out. I have used Tangerine for years and trust them completely. It’s true, you get what you pay for....My hair is always on point, never had a bad experience....From the front desk check in to the check out. I highly recommend Tangerine and all their stylists. I’ve used several of them. However, Will is my favorite and haven’t used anyone since!! Want a great experience each time...make your appointment with Will, he will take good care of you!! Thanks for all you do Will.

I had a great experience today at Tangerine with Katie. This was my first Covid haircut after a long time! Lol! The salon is very clean with strict masking, curtained partitions between chairs and spacing out between the customers. My stylist was very friendly, listened to my requests and gave recommendations for the cut, styling and after care. Overall took ~ 1 hour, not rushed at all. I was so happy with the cut and style after a long time since my last cuts in other places haven't been what I expected. After I paid, I noticed it was raining outside and she walked me to my car with an umbrella so my hair would't get wet. Aww!

This is the second time I’ve come to Adrian at Tangerine in Coppell and she is fantastic! My hair always comes out looking healthy and full of color! She is a total color genius and really listens to what you want and always delivers. 5/5!
