I really liked Allure when I first started going - Jessica is super! Lately though, when I'd call for an appointment about 1 month in advanced, I would be told there are no openings for 3 months. When I finally did get appointments, they would start up to 30 minutes past my appointment start time. Other times, they would say they were behind schedule and I wouldnt be able to get my wash just to save time (why are the other customers more deserving of a full wash/cut/style than I am?).
I get that there are some unforeseen circumstances, but a heads up "hey, I'm running about 30 minutes behind, can I offer you some water?" would have been appreciated. Instead, I sat on the hard bench as other people filed in and out. This last time I was offered a discount, but by that point I was so upset, and had a sore butt, that I declined. The excuse given was the person was super picky due to getting married. I get it, I am already married, and therefore not as important. They made me feel as if my business was no longer appreciated, so I took my business elsewhere.

Went for a perm and it did not take and my hair was straight and she still charged me for it and said that I can call the salon the next week and see what they can do for me.. I called and she offered another perm and I said that I did not want it that soon as for fear of further damage, my hair length is to my mid back. So she of freedom me a free deep condition treatment which I did to help my hair. I called back a month later and spoke to the girl that did the perm and she wanted to schedule a new perm, there were conflicts with my schedule and the salons so I did not make the appt. Called back three weeks later to speak to manager and was told she was gone and would be back in a week. Called back last week and said I decided not to get another perm because my hair was still damaged and just wanted my money back and the girl told me I needed to talk to manager the next week. Called back yesterday and finally spoke to her and she said she could not refund me myoney back because it was three months since I got he perm. WTHeck! ! I told her my hair is straight as a board and it did not work, after arguing with her she said she can only give me half my money back! I am beyond ticked at the way this was handled. I wasted three hours getting the perm and now lost out on money and my hair has no curl. The lady didn't even seem to care when I told her. I will never go back to them and will not give a good review if someone asks. What a way to positively correct a problem Allure!

No matter where I go nobody does it like they do here. Great stylists who are great at listening to what you want done. I always feel great after getting my hair cut here. I was a little nervous the first time because I heard salon and thought I'd be like a stereotypical salon. But the place smells good and they are great at styling men's hair. 10/10 recommend this to people looking for a place that doesn't smell like burnt hair and will leave you feeling fresh and confident.

Super friendly service! Absolutely adore Jessica, she is the best! I always have a great experience every time I go in for a hair cut!
