this place is horrible . i went with my friend after school ( around 3 ish ) the place was slow , 3 lady’s and only 1 doing work on a client . we asked if we could just walk in , but the first time we asked , we got ignored . they didn’t even acknowledge us . second time we asked , they told us to wait bc they were “busy” but 2 of them were on their phones . another complaint i have , is that they’re so judgmental . i like my nails long and coffin , so when i told her that’s what i wanted, she told me “nooo , too long ! it’s gonna break ! i cut shorter ..” i didn’t wanna be rude so i just thought she was gonna cut a little bit more which was okay i guess , but she cut it way too short . i’m not a professional nail tech , but i know a lot about acrylics. she got it on my skin and also messed up my polish , when i reminded her about her mistake , she acted as if it was my fault and told me to not touch it and let it dry . the other lady doing my friends nails , she complained her nail tech burnt her skin with the e-file , which is totally unacceptable . and my biggest issue , both nail techs asked us if we were vietnamese . when we said no , they immediately started talking in their own language . barely even socialized with us. the whole time they were speaking vietnamese , and my friend , who looks as if she is , asked her again . kept bothering her , asking “you sure ? you sure you not vietnamese?” we both said no , and they kept on trying to persuade us to get gel when that’s not what we asked for . when we turned down the offer , it seemed as if she was irritated with us . luckily , a old nice lady payed for us , but both nail techs kept telling us to “take a good look at her” so we’ll remember what she looked like .. overall , horrible service , horrible work . i recommend going to vip nails , and ask for tiffany , she’s great and a lot better than this place for sure

I had an awesome experience with Anne who did my nails! ❤ she was very nice and professional at her job, and thural in removing my 4 week old cal gel I had on my nails, she did an awesome job removing my gel by soaking my nails for a bit and using a drill bit with out hurting my natural nail, and for all the people who do gels and acrylic it can be painful but she was exceptional 💕. She cleaned up my nails so well I never had a service like that in years. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU SEEING ANNE AT MAKIKI NAILS😍 I will DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK JUST TO SEE HER ❤ by the way this my very first review, I don't normally do these kind of things, but I was so blown away, and 100%SATISFIED I HAD TO WRITE ONE!❤ Thank you Anne for my amazing nail service ❤
