So I walked in & asked for a full set of gels. He said no problem & took me back to the no chip nail polish section. I knew to ask questions this time instead of just trusting the nail technician. The last salon I went to gave me overpriced acrylics instead of gels. This place was going to do the same thing. So I'm standing there at the No Chip section with the host beside me & I turned to him saying, "If I'm getting gels I shouldn't be picking a No Chip Color. I should be picking a Gel color." He said we use a clear "gel" base & put the color on top, so you can change it. I said, "So it's basically an acrylic base with a Gel/No Chip top coat." He said he didn't really understand my statement, so I re-worded it. This time he says that the base it like acrylic, but it's better because it's for gel nail polish. Yea, that's not how a gel nails with extensions are supposed to be applied. Instead of ruining my nails with the acrylic base like I did at the last place, I switched to just getting regular gels. The manicurist ended up cutting my cuticles too short & even clipped the skin on one of my fingers. The application was fine & I used the OPI color "Make Bright of the Situation." How ironic. They ended up only lasting a week until the gel started to come up around the edges. Would not recommend to a friend.

Had a fantastic experience. I have been getting my nails done for years, this place is one of the best, Violet took so much time and made my fill and no chip perfect. Will definitely be back.

Came in last minute for a full set and pedicure! Awesome service , staff is so nice! Did a fantastic job! So relaxing! Definitely will come back if I’m ever back in Chicago area!!

I was sick and tired of my no chip manicures chipping, sometimes the same day. Jimmy suggested I try the powder dip. He said it's stronger and easier on your nails when you remove it and it lasts longer than a regular no chip (which is really an extra bonus for this poor girl who still wants nice nails). I thought what the heck, I'll try it. A month later I'm going in for a color change (I could have last week but they don't look too horrible for being a month old). Best part, not one single chip. Definitely my new nail place and nail tech. Jimmy you rock!
