Pricey bar, but it is worth going just for the views. I love going to this place during a weeknight as the weekends are pretty busy. There's typically a line to get in on the weekends, but it moves pretty quickly. Go check it out if you want to see an overview of the Bean down below. I went and grabbed one drink while enjoying the outside patio and the view of the lake. The food is pretty good as well.

We booked a reservation for an 11am brunch a month ahead. We came on a Wednesday, and they opened at 11am. We were given the choice on where to be seated, would have loved to stay outside but the sun was cruel that time so we stayed comfortably inside. Service was excellent. And since this is our first time here, our server was nice to go over the food and drinks. They have limited food choices, but they were superb. Portions were satisfying. The ambiance and the view were amazing, thus very relaxing. The price was well worth it, we paid $98 + $20 tip, for an appetizer, 2 main course, 2 cocktail drinks. Would love to come back on my next visit to Chicago.

It’s a summer time must! It’s pricey but well worth the views and ambience. Impressed by the food and drinks. The steak was intricate and delicious! Most dishes are family style (shareable) platters nonetheless. I recommend it if you are visiting!

Drinks and views are to die for!
I made a reservation to celebrate my husband’s birthday. People from the bar area kept spilling over and seating themselves at our table. A server asked one group to move. It would be nice if the host staff would remind people as they come in that the tables are for reservation only. The food was good, but overpriced. The cocktails were great and we wanted to try many of them on the menu.
At the end of the meal, they brought us each a glass of champagne and a birthday cream puff with a candle. It was really sweet and made it special. It also happened to be one of the nights they do the fireworks at navy pier! It all worked out wonderfully. We headed to the deck after dinner and finished our drinks. We won’t be dining there again but would absolutely go back for drinks and views!

We made a reservation months ago before coming to visit Chicago. Our reservation was for 11pm, we arrived got seated and no one came over to us for 10 minutes. We then were poured a glass of water but this man wasn’t our server. By 11:15 a manager came by to fill up our water glasses and we told her we’d like to order a drink. She explained she wasn’t our server but could do that for us. A minute later our server came by and explained to us “table service has ended so I can get you one round but that’s it.” Making it seem as though we has been in the wrong but no one had come to see us for almost 20 minutes. We wouldn’t have minded bar service but it was the way we were left sitting at our table for so long and been told by the hostess we’d have table service. Then our first round took another 15/20 minutes. We didn’t have drinks until 35 minutes post our reservation. Needless to say despite the lovely drinks, and great atmosphere the service was so awful I wouldn’t recommend it.
