This place is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!! I walked in there for the first time ever and it will DEFINITELY be my last time as well. They are over priced. The lady that did my nails did not buff them. Then she painted my nails and tried to leave them lumpy until I told her to re-do them again. She stated that it was the nail polish it self and that I had to pick a different color. So I picked a different color, so when she "so called" removed my old color and painted my nails with the second color, she did NOT do a good job in removing my original color. So now my hands look like a dam skittles candy. So I spoke to the Hispanic lady there and showed her why I was so upset and bless her heart that she understood why I was so vexed. She made the lady clear the multi color of my nails, but she still did a horrible job. I had to go to another nail salon and have them buff ,straighten and re-paint my nails all over again. Also, they insist on tips before they actually finish your nails. Bo nail salon or any place in general should be persistent about tips if the customer has not seen the finish quality of what they are paying for. THE HELL WITH THIS PLACE!!!! I would NEVER recommend Blue Sky Nails to anyone. Go to hamden at Nail Spa. They treat you right and all the workers there do your nails to your perfection..

Will never go there again. Worker did know what she was doing. Ask for someone else to do my pedi and got two different workers.

The worst! The owner was soo rude. I brought my daughter and 4 nieces for her birthday. We walked out after the owner insisted manicure took too long and went up on the price even the tech disagreed. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT BACK INTO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN. GO TO CHOCOLATE SPA

Went to get a manicure and it was terrible my nails are uneven and there are lots of bubbles and lines with no polish. Wouldn’t recommend going here at all.

I have been going to this salon for years... Cece gives quality manicures and does a wonderful job on eye brow waxing. It's important to know the esthetician who takes care of you. Carmen, as well as the owners John and Amy also do good work. Unfortunately there has been more turn over the last few years but you can have a great experience if you are sure to find one of the employees with experience and expertise.
