I love the excellent customer service at KuKu’s Beauty Supply. My very first visit and experience was with young adult staff, who greeted me with vibrant smiles on their faces and willingness to help me. I had called the supply store looking for a particular product and the telephone call experience was the the same, welcoming and inviting.
The products are reasonably affordable priced. It’s wonderful to see African American owned businesses, especially beauty supply stores in the community in which I live and can walk to.
Please neighbors and hair salon owners let’s support Kuku’s by making purchases, attending the “Pop Up” events held monthly, and welcome the business in our community with a friendly gesture.
I love supporting our businesses and very grateful for the support given by our businesses💕

This store has EVERYTHING! I was absolutely in a wonderland here! Not just hair items there were accessories and clothing as well, I found everything i was looking for with no problem at all! Assistance was always there in case i needed it and that was very reassuring! I will definitely be back so happy to have found this store.

I couldn't imagine how any business can have a 5 star rating after so many reviews but I now understand why. Kuku was wonderful and I'm so glad I drove the 40 minutes to visit her shop. Loved meeting and chatting with her. Got what I needed for my hair plus a smile on my face.

The owner was very accommodating, friendly and helpful. She mentioned that she is having an pop up event on September 18 from 10 am -7pm and that she offers well priced braiding services. Based on my five star first experience, I wish her black owned business much success. Please consider supporting this business when in DC and spread the word. A gem.

The owner Kuku was very nice and appreciative! Her salon looks great and she didn’t mind helping me looking for the type of hair I needed while she was eating. She was very nice!
Will definitely recommend her beauty salon!
