I came in last week to get a manicure from Student Brianna C It was such an amazing experience She did an awesome job and made me feel amazing myself. Today, I went in for a pedicure also, from Brianna and let me recommend this place as friendly environment and excellent in the areas they are trained in I couldn't feel happier or more refreshed

I came in for a haircut, with a photo of exactly what I wanted. I told the student, teacher and manager that I only wanted 2 inches cut off. I ended up with at least 6 inches cut off and not the haircut I wanted, despite me showing the photo to all the different folks who dealt with my hair (because I feared this - exactly what happened). I would recommend potential guests to communicate exactly what you want, and constantly check how your hair is being cut. The women cutting my hair were not native English speakers and this likely contributed to my problem.

Richard gave me a good haircut. Good communication! It is exactly what I wanted.

This is a school. I get it. And I don't even think that this was 100% the student fault..People have to start somewhere. I showed the gray/white shoulder length hair reseptionist/ instructor a photo of what I was wanting.. I have dark brown shoulder length hair not colored (virgin hair as they put it) I was asking for blonde highlights mainly on the lower half of my short hair with dark chocolate base 1-2 shades lighter then my hair. I was told this was possible. The instructor told the student " do 40 volume on virgin hair with balayage" this was the instructor "call" once my hair was completed 4 hours later, I ended up with amber light hair on my roots, brassy blonde highlights and dark ends.. turns out they bleached my whole entire head. It was too light and uneven, I left tired and hungry, I called the next time they opened wanting to know what volume, brand and toner was used since I was not sure if I wanted to return to get it fixed at the school or seek another experienced hair colorist. The new colorist I found wanted to know what was used to help guide her correcting my hair. BIG PROBLEM! I ended speaking with that same instructor lol she said" we don't let our students use 40 volume, we used 10 volume on your hair" I confronted her and informed her that I heard her say 40 volume.. she backtrack saying I was "mistaken it was for someone else"... someone else I said to myself...she just said they don't let the students use 40 volume??? The student that did my hair was not doing anyone else's hair ...It was I and another girl getting hair colored that day-she did not have virgin hair. I was the only one.. if the instructor is incompetent and is dishonest how are the student supposed to be successful?! My new colorist informed me that there is no way they used 10 volume on my dark hair and get it this light. BEWARE...My color and cut ended up costing me 75$..I'd rather pay way more for an experience colorist who is honest, tell there Clients what is possible with the type of hair they have and a buisness that cares for their staff and clients.

Showed up to my nail appt. front desk lady was overwhelmed and very unorganized, I just figured it was a bad day everyone gets em. My appt was an hour long but I know and understand that these are students, so that didnt really bother me. During my appt a second student chipped in to help with my nails she was nice but kept nicking my skin with the electric nail file it was pianful! Also I had to listen to a student (a hair stylist student) gossip and complain about another student to one of the instructors right there in front of me, Im surprised they accept this kind of behavior being as it would not be tolerated in a real salon. My nail girl used a powder brush to dust my hands after filing, and the brush was covered in particals from someone elses nails. For the polishing I was moved to a station that was just used but never sanitized it was covered in nail particles, I could see it and feel it rubbing against my arms. When it was time to wash up there was no nail brush except two highly dirty looking ones by the sink. Finally the main reason im writing this review, my nails started to peel a little the day after I had them done, and here it is not even 2 weeks yet and they are now really peeling and chipping off at the nail bed(snagging on everything)but fused together at the tips really well. so the bottom half is all chipped away and jaggid leaving only the tips.. Its unsightly. And its ironic because a lady came in while I was still getting my nails done saying that her nails were peeling after just getting them done. My thought on this is maybe they are letting the students have clients too early on, or maybe the girls arent being trained right..? Something. I will add I have been to beauty schools before and have had a way better experience and result. I would not recommend this place unless none of thee above bothers you. And if you are interested in becoming a student.. there are way better schools out there for ya.
