Got my nails done on Wednesday for a wedding for the first time at this salon. I am giving it two stars because the staff was really friendly. Other than that my gel nails, which typically last me 2-3 weeks when I go to my usual salon, only lasted 4 days.. probably wouldn't recommend this salon to others.

Honestly my experience was awful. I took a friend of mine to get a mani-pedi for her birthday and it wasn't the fantastic experience I had at Jane's Nails in Millburn, nj. The lady that took care of me was on the phone 3 times during my session. I can't speak Spanish so I don't know if it was an emergency, but WOW it was really unprofessional. THANK god I brought my own nail polish because the stuff they had there looks old. Definitely going back to Jane's in Millburn.

I went to Janes Nails the day after Christmas. I walked in, asked for a manicure pedicure. I had a gift card for 25 dollars - the only reason why I went there because I have had bad experiences there in the past. Half way through my manicure they told me it was $30 dollars that day, which I didn't know. They asked me to pay the 5 dollars right then.
I didn't have cash and tried to explain I could go get cash next door but they wouldn't let me and I had to give them my debit card. They asked if I wanted to add the tip (quite aggressively) and i told them I would get cash for that. At the end of the hurried manicure pedicure, which has been already chipping a day after, I left telling them I'd get the cash for the tip. I got a call from my mom and had to leave right away, although I did intend to tip. I saw in my account they charged 5 dollars but it said "waiting for final amount from merchant" on my bank account. The next day the amount changed to 10 dollars. I never consented to 10 dollars, I signed a receipt slip for 5. I called my bank and got my money back.
Never go here, and most definitely never pay with a card. The terrible service and their bad attitude was enough to keep me away, but I can't believe what they did.What they did is illegal, it is theft.

Fast and consistent. I have been there a few times for a reg. mani/pedi and was pleased each time with the result. There is ample parking, a diverse clientele and talented staff.
