I can't say enough good things about The Nail Shop & Spa in Highland Park. I had such an amazing experience. Rita does an AMAZING job at spray tans and Luba did a fabulous job on my nails and toes! I arrived a little late with my baby boy, and was treated so nicely. I had mistakenly wrote down the wrong time of my appointment, though Luba was so sweet and immediately took me in to do my nails, even though it forced her to leave after the shop closed.
I wasn't aware that the shop only took cash and check. Luba was so sweet when my $56 total could not be taken by card and I only had $30 cash. Her response was, "Just bring it back when you can!" I offered to immediately go to an ATM but Luba insisted no, since I had my infant son with me. The sweet nature of the staff left such an impression on me. I'm from the South and I haven't had such a sweet experience in the Midwest as of yet. The Nail Shop and Spa is just a precious, genuine shop. I absolutely love this nail shop and will go back from now on because they do a great job, and the shop is full of good people. They've got my business for good.

I would highly recommend the Nail Shop for your nail and skincare needs! Even though the Nail Shop has been in business for over twenty years, I have been a regular client for about a year and a half and am so glad I found The Nail Shop! The owner Rita Beygel and her staff are warm, friendly, and professional. They are wonderful at what they do and I can say that for most of the ladies in the shop as I have had a beauty service with almost all of them. The manicure and pedicure lasts for a long time and the no-chip manicure lasts three weeks without chipping. There is a great selection of nail polish colors. The spray tan is natural looking and lash extensions look great for everyday wear without the need for mascara. The ambiance and decor is bright, cheerful, warm, and comfortable. The location is perfect as I can have lunch at Abigail's next door and shop for designer kids clothes at Principessa. All I can say is that each week I can't wait to come in for my day of beauty and relaxation!
