So, I hate leaving bad reviews, but this time I feel like I should maybe it'll fix Lauries attitude towards future customers.
I was referred by a friend so I called to schedule an appt for my mom to get a perm. It's difficult to find someone to work perms nowadays so when I call I said a had a couple questions before scheduling. I explained to her the kind of perm my mom was looking for, I also explained we needed someone with lots of experience doing perms (my mom had her hair burned by someone few months back) and also that my mom was retired so she could basically come in any time any day.
She right away jumped to trying to schedule before answering my questions. She told me what day and time I needed the appt, I told her "whenever since my mom is retired and can make it any time/day" BUT that we needed someone with lots of experience on perms, so basically when the person whose been doing it the longest has an opening we could just jump right in. She started laughing at me and said "yes. But I need to enter a date and time so tell me what date and time" so I told her, first tell me, who are you booking us with and does she have experience doing perms? Which she answered, " we all have experience" (we all know theres always someone with more experience and better at specific jobs), so I again asked her whose been doing it the longest she answered with a very nasty attitude, " Well I dont know" and she proceeded to give me like 5-6 names.
I understand sometimes customers can be rude, but I wasnt. I was explaining myself well and trying to get my questions answered.
This is the first and last time I ever tried to get hair service at a chain hair salon. I guess I should've listen to everyone who makes jokes about this places being low quality and rude.

Immediately after leaving my review I was contacted by Dave, the owner of the establishment. Later, I got a call back from Lori and we figured out the misunderstanding.
I was impressed by how Dave runs his business and commitment to his customers and community so I decided to take my mom in.
Once there, place looks very nice kept, there was no wait, service was done fast and the result was exactly as wanted, their prices are very accessible compared to other salons.

Took the kiddos here for a quick haircut. It was a good experience. We were in and out in under 40 minutes.

Hair cuts were done well, all enjoyed the results the next day too. Hair stylist was knowledgeable and friendly, handling thick and curly hair well for an exceptionally reasonable price.

I requested a simple trim, I received a full cut (I was trying to grow my hair out, now I have to start over)...the worst of it is the Manager who did my hair burned my forehead and my neck. My neck has a big mark on it and my forehead keeps breaking open and bleeds. I paid $40.00 for this horrid treatment. I sincerely want a refund. This place was good a while back but I guess I went here at my own risk. I wish I was one of those people who at least complain I always try to leave friendly I went away quietly sad, but every time this burn opens on the touch of a comb or washing my face I am sadly reminded!

Love my haircut! I usually get a buzzcut but decided to try out a fade this time and was very happy with the results! I even got some great tips on products to use with the new style.
