Small quaint salon. Stephanie is a great stylist. Salon is always clean. The policy set by IDPH and guidelines set by IL state licensing are followed to the letter! When salons were allowed to reopen in spring 2020, I knew I’d feel safe going here. Masks are worn the entire time and disinfected between customers. Asks if you’ve been sick and takes your temperature. Couldn’t ask for better safety precautions! Have been a customer for for 10 years with no plans of going elsewhere.

I've been going to Stephanie at The House of Hair for almost 20 years. The place is clean. The environment is safe. I always have a good relaxing time there. These ladies that work here are expert colorists and know how to process and treat hair. Very knowledgeable on the latest trends and styles. This is the only place I would consider going and having my hair done. Also I have my eyebrows and face waxed here. On a 1 to 10 scale The House of Hair is a 10. Keep up the good work Stephanie, Ali and Dawn. 👍👍

The 2 bad reviews are not clientele of ours.
If you are going to right a bad review at least make sure what the correct name of the salon is. We are a well established salon with our own clientele...You are not our clients!!!

Place is so ghetto.the owner turned my hair Grey Had to soak my hair in conditioner and lemon juice for hours after getting my hair done here Still was Grey and took like three weeks for the Grey to fade to blonde Maybe you shouldn't own a salon if you don't know what level toner to use. I didnt even ask for toner I only got my roots done but she puts toner on all my hair without even asking My hair looked worse after leaving. You should go to the salon and look better coming out not worse

Been going there for the past 6 years and have yet to have a complaint. Can always trust to have amazing hair along with friendly conversation during the process.
