I recently visited after scheduling an appointment for 2 pedicures. When I arrived I was told they made a scheduling error and basically I couldn't keep my appointment. I was being pushed to come in later that evening and "all services" would be comped. I didn't want to come back since I was already there and parking is annoying. They were saying I could get in at 4 when my appointment was scheduled for 2:30. I just waited around for a little longer and I could tell they were still reviewing to fix the mistake. She came back and said they could get me in now, maybe around a half hour after my appointment, which I was thankful for. I am unhappy with the fact that she came back to me and said "since we were able to get you in the services will not be comped but we will give you 20% off." I felt that was very unprofessional. I never expected nor asked for them to pay for everything but felt it was a very nice gesture for their mistake. The nail techs did a great job and I loved the pedicure but will not be returning due to lack of professionalism.

The staff is very friendly and the nail bar is clean. And, I like the fact that they offer coffee and tea to the customers. I got a manicure and pedicure---I love it! I think I found my new favorite nail salon to go to.

The cleanliness and atmosphere is great however the quality of my Gel extensions are not worth the price I paid for them; I have had them for a week and I can see the extension lifting from my nails. Gel nail extensions are supposed to last at least 2-3 weeks. I paid $75 for worse than mediocrity. I can get them done better for a much cheaper price somewhere else, will not be returning.

My gel nails looked great at first but 10 days later one fell off in the shower. I called the short north location that I went to and was told that their gel nails last 10-14 days, since I was on day 10 I would be charged for anything that was done. I would have went in for a removal but luckily all of my nails had already been lifting off so they peeled off like stickers. I have never had a gel polish come off so easily and I am very disappointed by how unaccommodating they were to that fact. I will not be back to any locations.

I was recommended to the W nail bar in short north by a co worker, her nails typically look great. When I arrived the shop was super cute and clean looking. The shop prides themselves on being a more natural salon so they don't use nail drills or acrylic. Which I thought was cool. I was there for a gel nail removal/gel manicure. The removal process took longer than expected but was still cool. The manicure was actually very good.
When it came time for the polish, I was slightly concerned because I wasn't staying under the uv light for the full 60 sec like I'm used to at other shops. But I went with it. Lastly only one top coat was place on top....
In less than 24hours I had cracks in several nails. And in less than 48 hours polish actually chipped off. I have NEVER had this happen to me. I WON'T BE BACK!
