Whatever you do, DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! I had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE THERE LAST WEEK! i'm still in shock at how i was treated, and the lack of experience the stylist DIDN'T HAVE! and how mean and cruel I was treated! So, i am a 55 yr old grandmother of 2 gorgeous little girls, and 10 yrs ago i lost my son to the Iraq war, and quit my dream job, i had wanted my entire life, but waited till my children were grown, because a flight attendant is gone all the time, and i refused to do it while they were young! So, i was so happy at that stage of my life, and my husband was traveling a lot with me too, because we flew for free! But a few years after I landed the job, my son, a marine, was killed in the line of duty, and I had to quit to raise my grandaughters, which i wouldn't change for the world! I never thought I could love that much! But, being older it really took a toll on me, and i was and still am, exhausted all the time! And i really let myself go, i never wore makeup or had my hair done, so finally as a special treat, my husband watched the kids so I could get pampered and feel pretty, and I was so excited about getting my hair done and covering up the gray, so I would feel younger than i looked! And my husband wouldn't let me go to fantastic sams, because he felt like I wouldn't get a quality job, like I would get, going to an upper scale salon, and paying a little more to get what i want, so i made an appointment at the twisted scissor, and i took pictures to show the stylist exactly what I wanted and she said no problem, but then she said, since we were doing an all over color, that she wouldn't have time to finish that night, because she booked me for 5 30, and said she would need apx 4 more hours on top of the 2 hours that night! Ive never in my life have had a stylist take 6 HOURS TO DO ALL OVER HIGHLIGHTS! so i said as long as shes gonna finish my color tomorrow, i would go ahead and pay her 150.00 dollars, plus a 20 dollar tip! I had showed her a picture of the cut i wanted, and she didn't come anywhere close or in the vassinity of close! She chopped up my hair like crazy! I wanted bangs, she didn't give me ANY bangs at all! And she started my highlights, just a few on the top of my head, and would finish it the next day! I had hair down to my butt, and just wanted trimmed and she took off half my hair! So after i paid her 170.00 , we said goodbye, and see ya tomorrow! Well, tomorrow never happened because she called me and said she couldn't finish my hair, because she was booked up for a week! I couldn't believe what i was hearing! Then the ignorant boss and owner, called me, and was mad at ME saying that i got what i paid for, because she did a shampoo, cut and dry, and the pricing chart on this website, had packages, and i bought the package that was all over highlights PLUS CUT AND DRY for 150.00, plus the 20 dollar tip! I'm so pissed off, because my hair looks worse than when i went to them! I was supposed to get an overall look of being bleached blonde, and I'm still very dark with a few highlights on top of my head, and that's it! Her boss said she gave you "flashlights, and i said I DIDN'T WANT FLASHLIGHTS! I wanted it all over, under, etc, and what really makes me mad, is that now she gave me red highlights on top! Now I'm stuck with what she did, and i paid her 170 for jacking up my hair, I'm still dark all over with red "flashlights " but the fact that she took my hair money, i had been saving, and messes it up worse, and then blow me off, AFTER she got my money, and tell me she's booked up, when i was booked first, and she had already started my hair, and then doesn't want to finish what she started, is super low! You just don't do that to people, and pocket the money and move on to the next one, because she had already been paid by me, and didn't feel like finishing, because she knew she wouldn't get any more money for me, so she wanted to go make more money, and screw me a good one! So buyer beware, STAY AWAY FROM TWISTED SCISSOR AND BRIANNA!
