I'm not going to go anywhere else again. You're certainly going to get your money at this salon! The best hair cut I ever had! Because of her assistance, I want to thank the hairstylist. She is a total and polite sweetheart. She knows how to cut the right style of hair!

I would highly suggest you make an appointment because they are busy. They are THE ONLY PLACE THAT DRESSES MY CROWN! They are wonderful and my locs I started less than two years ago look Amazing! Black shirt (6/2019) Scarf (6/2020) White Shirt (1/2021)

Salon Daba is my go-to to get my locks done RIGHT. I live in Compton but it is well worth the drive and dealing with the 110 fwy to get there lol.
Once there, they treat you with the utmost respect and care as you relax in a cozy, family-like atmosphere and listen to some smooth afro-beats music.
From the pre-wash to finishing touches, they take good care of you and ensure your hair is styled exactly as you wanted. They will also offer you advice and tips on haircare between stylings.
For example, Im in my 40s with male pattern baldness creeping in on my crown. The stylist at Salon Daba, Amina, recommended Jamaican Black Castor Oil. I've been applying it to the balding area and it actually works!
Bottomline, I love this Salon and would recommend them to anyone in L.A. looking to get their locks or braids done.

Amina is one of the most talented people I have met and has the personality to match. She is generous, kind and always makes you look beautiful when you leave her salon. There are not enough starts to emote my appreciation for her!
