I would not go there for color. Mom ended up w pink hair and mine was a poor attempt at a two toned color. I ended up paying to get it fixed elsewhere. The trainers were notified but absolutely nothing was done. We left mortified. On a good note, I had been several years ago and had the cutest haircut I ever had. You definitely take a chance going there but for the price it’s hard to gripe too much

Watch out, they will completely butcher your hair, spend 6 hours “trying” to fix it, then force you to pay and kick you out at closing with no apology or offer for you to come back and get it fixed another day.

I had not the best experience:/ One of my best friends is currently in school there so I wanted to come in and have her ombré my hair. She
was doing great and asking Ashley (the “instructor” with black hair and blonde bangs) lots of questions. So I wanted a Carmel tone on my roots and blonde all over, already being blonde it wasn’t too much to change. Ashley had my stylist use a copper orange color and of course when we rinsed it out it was bright ORANGE! When my stylist went to the “instructor” she laughed about it and wouldn’t even come down to help. She hid behind the glass wall office area.. I don’t even know how you could laugh about setting up one of your students to fail. I left crying and they made me pay for it:(

Manager basically explained there are little to no services provided to women of color. Then manager walked away and left me standing there with receptionist which was very rude. Stated a student had been waiting on paper work for a few hours. I had been there 5 minutes and she needed to take care of it immediately. Hmmm.
The reply the owner posted was inaccurate. I was there from 1:21 pm to 1:26 pm. I was attempting to make an appt for my 14 y/o daughter. I told this to the lady that came to talk to me. And it still stands they limit the scope of services for women of color or with hair that has texture, that service is non existent. She also told me to go to the other school but she didn't know the address. I had her look it up. If I had wanted to go there I would have done that in the 1st place. I do no that it's a school which is why I went there also. Bye the way where she told me to go to the other location is about 79th or 80th and Troost. Don't be fooled people.

I went in to get a full set, the student doing my nails was very professional and kind but I was there for four hours. Left with one nail missing and another one unfinished because they kept coming off and I wasn’t going to sit there any longer. The student doing my nails didn’t get any help from the instructors even though she was struggling for FOUR hours. When I went to the front desk to discuss charges I was treated terribly by the supervisor/ manager (?). DO NOT go to the blue springs location for nails.
