Great experience at The Red Door Spa, the receptionist was kind and welcoming, when my friend and I arrived for our Facials. The receptionist took time to explain and show us were to go and what to do as we prepared to meet our esthetician. My facial was done by Julia, she made me feel comfortable with special care due to I am 35 weeks pregnant. The facial room was relaxing and clean. My face was hydrated and glowing once the facial was complete. Such a wonderful experience, however that changed once we prepared to check out. There was a line at the receptionist desk and we all waited patiently for our turn. At the receptionist desk there were 4 young women and one of them was speaking louder than the others calling next as if we were in a fast food restaurant and appeared annoyed. My friend and I went up to this young woman and prepared to pay our bill, our service was placed under my friend's name so we spoke quietly and asked for the bill to be split. My friend then turned to me and asked what should be the tip percentage and as I said 20%, this young woman said very loud 20% and rolled her eyes and had a smirk on her face. I was shocked that a Red Door staff would treat a client this way. I was disturbed by this young woman actions and I do not feel she should work at the spa if this is her attitude. Later that day I called The Red Door and spoke with the manager, who apologized for her actions and stated she will address these actions.

My husband and I received a duo massage for his birthday. His masseuse did not focus on the areas he asked her to work on. He requested a Deep Tissue Massage and all he was given was some sort of Deep Tissue gel. He said he felt like she was wiping his back. She was not organize with her massage. My masseuse was good that’s why I am giving two stars but she didn’t focus on the area I asked her to. The spa didn’t have restroom for men , there was no sauna. You would think Elizabeth Arden spa would be of better quality. You should have a better experience for paying $500 for a duo massage. So pricey for little quality.

All I can say is WOW. What a great experience. I had color/partial highlights/hair treatment/ and a blow out. I’m actually coming back soon for a haircut with Alfred. And I’m stupid excited. Also everyone was so nice. It’ll cost a pretty penny but imo it’s worth every dollar.

Overheard stylists being awfully rude and terrible to a young blonde assistant. One stylist even went as far as to talk foully about the blonde assistant to me and started talking about this girls personal life as if I knew her! Very unprofessional and heartbreaking to hear grown women talk about a young girl that way. Service was good but atmosphere is not the environment I would bring myself nor my close friends to again.
