I experienced unfriendly nail artists that weren’t willing to hear the opinion/feedback of their client. I wanted to try a new salon as I usually go to Lacquer Nails in Italian Village but I missed the usual massage service at nail salons that I don’t get at Lacquer. Upon walking in, I was snapped at to check in - I wasn’t greeted or met with a friendly demeanor. I’m pretty patient and understanding so I brushed this off but was sad to find that this would set the tone for my experience here. I’m a huge fan of designs and get them every time I get my nails done, so when I came in with a gradient example I was hopeful to get exactly what I envisioned based on the reviews for Elodie. I chose very vibrant colors and when the colors started to wash out from the gradient technique that was used (an air brush tool), I voiced that I wanted more layers so the colors I chose could be captured. The technician, Alexis, was unwilling to work with me (something that Lacquer is exceptional at) and was obviously rushing my appointment. She went over the gradient once more on only one hand and when I said that it looked great and offered another solution to make it even more vibrant she rushed me out of the chair. No one there seemed friendly but maybe they are - I won’t be back to find out unfortunately.

I love their work and how friendly they are. Wonderful place to go. My first experience at a nail salon was with them; and today was my second time going back. First picture from my first time nails done by Elena and the second picture is from today nails done by Andy. All the techs do really wonderful work at Elodie The Nail Lounge. 🥰💅🏾

As an out-of-state visitor, I visited this nail salon based on recommendations. I requested a set of basic French tips for The Arnold's, a televised event, necessitating flawless or near-flawless execution. Unfortunately, the outcome fell short of expectations. Despite requesting a basic medium-length coffin French tip, the application resulted in thick, heavy, uneven, lumpy, nails with an unflattering wide duck bill shape. The thickness of the white tips are awful. This is the second time of ever getting my nails done so i’m not familiar with terms and such, but figured a french tip would be a simple mistake- proof design for any nail tech to do.
Attached is a photo comparing the desired outcome with the actual result. Regrettably, the service did not align with the expectations set by its reputation, and this was definitely not worth the cost at all 😭
I normally never leave negative reviews but due to the fact these are one of the things i’m going to be judged on for in my competition, it’s a bit disappointing.
pic 1 was shown for the pink nail bed color I wanted and pic two for shape but requested it slightly shorter.
Salon itself was really clean and nice tho.

i have gone to this salon for over 2 years, and i have never been unhappy with my nails. i book Alexis as much as i can, very professional and talented artist. i definitely recommend this spot for your go to nail services!

Sue was so genuine and sweet to work with. She is very meticulous and made sure my nails looked perfect. I am so grateful to have gotten her as my nail tech. I was visiting town for a wedding and was told about Elodie from a friend. I wish this salon was back home!
