***UPDATED REVIEW*** At first I had left only a 2 star review because of the situation I mentioned below but after the owner of the salon had the kind decency & courtesy to respond back to my review & she explained everything about her employees I decided to give the salon the benefit of the doubt & change my review to 4 stars. The 4 stars is because the new owner Jessica really went all out & really did her thing with redesigning the salon when she bought it. The inside of the salon looks Immaculate & the outside of it looks very fresh & modernized as well. It looks so much more awesome than the old nail spot that was there which looked so run down & outdated. Now it looks like a cozy corner spot to go get pampered especially if you're a woman. I'm not a woman so I don't know the 1st thing about nail polishes, acrylics, gels & all of that stuff lol but I can say that when I walked in there I saw so many different nail polish colors & stuff that I was thinking I'm glad I'm not a woman because it would have been kinda hard to choose a color from the very large selection they had in there. It was like a nail polish paradise so many different colors & varieties to choose from. I don't know how women decide with that many options loll

***FIRST REVIEW*** I live in the neighborhood. The new owner Jessica redid the whole place so nice. It looks way better than before so props to Jessica for that. For all those who are confused by the name Airam it's MARIA spelled backwards and I believe the name of the salon is named after Jessica's baby girl and that's really nice. Being that she named the new salon after her daughter she's probably doing this for her child so everyone especially if you live very close to the neighborhood like I do should be supporting this newly renovated business. However, the problem was when I walked in there neither of the 2 women who were working at the time spoke barely any English unless they were just pretending that they didn't speak any English because I'm a guy. If they really didn't speak any English then no offense or disrespect to them but it certainly felt like they didn't want to deal with me at all because I'm an Italian guy and not Latino. I couldn't understand this since I'm not ghetto at all. I am very successful, mature, humble, professional, educated and extremely respectful. All I wanted was a nice foot massage, to get my nails cut a bit and a few other simple things and I think because I'm a White guy the employee didn't want to deal with me at all. It's a shame because had they done a nice job I would have tipped them nicely. Massive respect to Jessica for redoing the whole place and making it look 100 times better than the old spot First Choice Nails but those 2 workers who treated me like I was some sort of alien because I'm a White guy really need to go loll

dont go there.
the women was very rude and unprofessional.
i dont think she is a manicurist by profession.
she cut my nail uneven.
i askef her to file the nails a little so they look even instead she start to laugh at me with her co workers and telling me she is "busy "to continue doing my nails.
i left very disappointed and ubset.

Posting for the second time , don't come here !!
I don't recommend and neither won't come back in this place , the nails end up horrible and the lady who did my nails was very rude complaining all the time super unprofessional , when she realized that I was getting pissed she started to talk in Spanish "like no one will understand what I’m saying " if she is charging me much more for the service and the place was empty I don't got why she was complaining To take off my gel nail polish and being rude to me she even dare and turned to me to say “next time do the regular manicure! 83$ with gel not worth , worse service I live really close to this salon but I don't mind walking one more block to the next salon ! .

I just moved to the area and was hoping to find a nail place walking distance from my apartment so I thought I’d give this place a try- it was so dirty- the pedicure area was filthy- I almost walked out. I didn’t let the lady cut my cuticles bc the tools had leftover crud on them! She asked if I wanted my foot scrubbed and the sponge had hair and dirt on it- I said no! I picked out a white polish and she used a pink top coat so a few of my nails now look pink. I couldn’t even sit through her re-painting so I just said whatever. Maybe this was just a bad experience or an off day but if the owner of the shop reads this- clean and sanitize your store! (The person doing my nails was also on the phone the first 5 minutes- not the friendliest)

Intimate shop, very serene and relaxing. Love the cleanliness of this salon and the hygienic practices. The variety of great quality nail polish is never ending. Has a staff of well diverse woman, so there is someone for everyone at this salon. New owner is vibrant, friendly and super pleasant. I highly recommend this place!
