DO NOT BUY GANESH IDOLS HERE! They are all substandard! Idols are paint ripping, breaking as you touch. We brought home our idol and it broke as we gently placed it on the counter. They are not refunding or replacing for their poor merchandise as well. Horrible customer service and support on this matter. Don’t waste your money on their stuff and ruin your experience before your festivities!
Also - never buy their rotten coconuts. Care for your health. Staff are pathetic with their responsibility and service. They try to find lamest excuse to avoid owning up the matter. Lots of attitude and blame the customer style to avoid refunds.
They do not put the fresh vegetables until you ask. Their pomegranates are always rotten. Ask and the staff brings fresh poms to customers who sweet talk to them. Same with most other veggies.

A vast store of Indian groceries & food articles. If you do not notice an item here, it will be unavailable elsewhere too in Austin.
A prominent idol of Lord Ganesh is on display at the entry point & causes you to feel at home.
Plentifully stocked & well laid out racks. Display boards make it easy to search the required item.
The vegetable section seems to be somewhat crowded. You need manoeuvring the shopping cart in this part very skillfully.
Just near the door, there is a little section for children to play. Lots of toys are offered here to keep them engaged so that Mom Pop can do the shopping leisurely.

This store sells expired spices, some packages do not have expiry dates, return policy is very worst. They charge hefty money for some items but quality is very worst (for ex: dry coconut, spices). The manager is very rude and was not returning money when I returned rotten dry coconut. This manager thinks he's getting good business, so he can talk however he wants to the customers. He'll definitely lose many customers for his rudeness. I have seen his rude behavior with many other customers as well but I experienced the same rude behavior recently. 1 star is more for this store.

Most of the Indian groceries can be found here. Things are well organized & not very clumsy. Try the readymade sabzi which just needs hearing. This makes life easy. Staff is helpful. They don’t give plastic bags. At times they have boxes which they offer. But be prepared to carry your out plastic bag when they are out of boxes or be prepared to pay for plastic bags too.

This is a huge grocery store, with lots of indian veggies. They also have few fresh sweet items that are good too. They have a nice little play area inside the store which keeps my little guy busy as well.
