They do braids really good, but my advice to you is to get there as early as possible. Don't call to make an appointment because they don't keep an appointment book and you will still have to wait if a walk-in came in ahead of you before your appointment time.

I come here from time to time and I’ve noticed that it’s a hit or miss because they will assign anyone to do your hair whether they know how to do the particular style you are requesting or not. I went in today to get my hair braided for an event tonight, and it was horrible. Mary’s daughter did not listen to any of my requests regarding the parting and thickness of my hair. I even showed her a photo showing the parting size. She kept saying “I’m gonna do them a little smaller so it can last longer”. However, that was not what I asked for at all. I am now sitting here with bulky braids, and tiny parts. I paid $160 just for me to have to go back tomorrow to see if Mary can fix my hair.
