I’m in the hair industry and have attended this school a while back. My experience at Elite was beyond my expectations. I was properly trained and passed my state board. Since then I have developed a great clientele at my salon and I’ve got an awesome career. When I see the recent review post from Amy Manning ( owner of Manning Academy) She’s obviously jealous and frustrated on how successful Elite has become.

I am dissapointed and I know that you have policy’s and all but you should consider that not all single parents have someone they can count on to watch for their children. I understand you do this for safety reasons and to protect yourself but, If he was at risk of getting hurt I would never make an appt at your facility, because I know my son and how he is. Not to mention I've been allowed to bring him in with me in the past. I have a five year old who sits down quiet, is well mannered and knows how to behave. I even got a nice compliment from the main owner on how well behaved he was. Not sure why you didn’t allow it this time?

I normally like coming here for my hair cut but the last time I came in for a cut I think it may be my last. I wanted a simple trim. I told her no layers, besides maybe cleaning up what was already done to my hair. She just snipped away and now I have layers in my hair that dont even make sense.. She got scissor crazy and just started cutting what ever she wanted... I hate my hair cut, Im sad doing my hair every morning because it just looks soo awful ( or atleast awful in the sense, its exactly the opposite of what i wanted ) Im happy that they have amazing instructors because the male one was able to fix the choppy mess that she created. If it wasnt for him I would have left with a horrendous hair cut.. I still give three stars because I have gotten some pretty good cuts here, just the last one left me sad enough, i dont know if i would want to come back..

I’m disappointed on the recent review that Amy Manning posted on Elites google page. Seriously? How un-professional AMY!! Elite school of beauty is truly a great place. FYI to all reading this review. The Mannings own one of the other beauty schools in town and are trying to compete with Elite by taking cheap shots and knocking Elite. I’ve been to both schools and Elite is by far the ONLY choice for me!!!
