I guess I'm not expecting stellar customer service from any nail salon...just a clean place that does a reasonably good job.
I walked in at 10:45am on a Tuesday and was told "can you come back in an hour? No, we're busy" I could see they were busy but it was the F off manner that I was told they couldn't accomadate me that rubbed me the wrong way. I had already paid for parking so I was bummed I had to leave to find another spot.

My first visit and resulting gel manicure was spectacular. The second gel manicure was just okay. Will try once more because the staff is quite lovely.

Friendly, efficient and fast (unless they're swamped). They have a very convenient location, steps away from Downtown Berkeley BART station.
