Great cut and very deep conditioning for my very long and thick hair. She listened to me and made adjustments as I requested. Cool, as I can be reticent regarding cuts! Will definitely be back.

Love getting my hair cut here, they're wonderful with kids if needed, too, and the beauty products and boutique are well selected and well priced!

Debbie and her team are very talented. They go above and beyond to make sure you look good and feel good. Very talented team. They also have a great boutique with trendy well prices clothes.

I have been searching for a good salon since I moved to AK last May 2012. The Beauty Room is not only a great salon but it is by far the best salon I have been to.
I received a wonderful Hair cut by Master stylist Travis. Also, with the help of Alice, I got my hair permanently straightened. It has been two days now and I still LOVE my new hair. I can't say enough about Travis, Alice and The Beauty Room.
From the moment I walked in I felt welcome. The lady at the front desk was friendly and after checking me in walked me to the waiting lounge. The atmosphere in the salon was upbeat and lively. Travis was extremely knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure I was happy with my hair. He even juggled around his schedule to fit me in after we decided that straightening was the way to go. He explained everything he was doing and I felt very confident about the process.
A little about me the reviewer: I am in my Mid-Twenties. I have lived many big cities (New York being one of them) and have been to many salons. Basically I am not saying this lightly when I tell you this was the best salon experience I have had.
