My Kenmore Pro range when set to temperature would reach it and then shut down
The range is only 4 years old!!
The tech came and said it was the user board
The user board was ordered and finally tech back to install. The part didn’t work. Then the tech said it had to be the mother board. We ordered the mother board. Finally he came back to install and it didn’t work!!! We started this journey on 8-14. It is now 10-19. I have been without a working oven for two months
The tech put all old parts back in my oven and basically said good luck!!😩
When I turned the power back on I saw a F3 flashing code. I pulled him back in the house to see this. He had to call someone else to decipher.
Now they say it in my temperature probe. The part has been ordered and arrived last week. I was scheduled for service on 10/14. They called with a message that it would now be the 21st
I am at my wit’s end!!!

I would NOT recommend anyone use Sears Service. While the tech was friendly, the overall service experience with Sears was terrible. We were forced to go through them with our home warranty for our dishwasher. The tech came and indicated they needed to order a motor for our machine. The part came the following week, when the tech came to install this he was unable to disconnect the electric and was unable to work on the unit, telling us we needed to hire an electrician to come out and disconnect the electric and left. The follow up appointment was scheduled and when the tech showed up, said he wasnt able to perform any work because he had been injured on a previous job and that their supervisor was making them go the scheduled appointments to tell them they couldn't perform the service repairs (during COVID), and that they needed surgery and would be back in 2 weeks. The service window provided is a 9 hour window meaning from 8-5 you cant do anything else! Even Charter has improved their service window down to 3 or 4 hours!
Our dishwasher hasn't worked since Sept 19th and still hasn't been fixed by Sears Service. I dont have high Hope's that when their tech comes to finally swap the unit that we wont still be without issues! A dishwasher repair tech should be able to disconnect the electric to the unit, LOTO is a basic service task!
AVOID SEARS SERVICE! You're better off youtubing or Googling how to repair your appliances.

We bought a 5 year protection plan for our Kenmore Elite refrigerator 2 years ago when we purchased it, well 4 weeks ago the cooling compressor went out. They sent a technician that isn’t with Sears to diagnose it, but he didn’t want to do the repair himself and we had no idea because no one told us. He said he might pass it on to Sears and we finally got ahold of that tech 2 weeks later, he told me not to call Sears (red flag!). I call Sears and we are back to square one and waiting for the compressor to arrive to our home, repair appointment is set for September 16! Our refrigerator stopped working on July 22nd! I can’t get through to customer service without being on hold forever, they told me to call at 7am and I did. Kept getting a message to call at normal business hours, so I waited til 8am and now I’m on hold again!
My husband and I will no longer buy from Sears! We are done! If I could give 0 stars I would.

Repairman arrived on time and went right to work on four appliances. He was very helpful - gave us some tips on how to improve our maintenance (using vinegar to reduce lime buildup) of washer and dishwasher. Very polite and fast worker!

did not even check over the snow throw, I had to take it out side for him to be able to see it, he try to look at it in the dark, he was very bad for a repair man. i HAD TO START THE SNOW THROWER UP SO HE CAN HEAR IT. THAT IS PRETTY BAD WHEN, I HAD TO DO HIS WORK FOR HIM. YOU SHOULD SEND HIM BACK TO SCHOOL, AND TRY TO PICK A NEW TRADE, HE MIGHT GET SOME WHERE. SOME PEOPLE JUST DONT HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE TO DO THAT TYPE OF WORK, HE GETS TO COLD OUT SIDE. HE IS IN THE WRONG WORK. SORRY BUT NOTHING GOT DONE. IT WAS BAD FOR THIS GUY. SORRY BUT THATS WHAT HAPPEN.
