We stayed in Koru Villa Water in May and it was even better than we expected. It's a happy medium between staying in a hotel and renting a house. Much more spacious, private and relaxing than staying in a hotel and much more convenient than having to bring your own sheets, towels and toiletries to a house. Koru manager, Kim, was very nice and helpful. Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is only a 10 minute drive. Of all the restaurants we tried, Pangea Tavern was by far the nicest and cleanest. The beach was quiet and not at all crowded. If we go back to the OBX, we will definitely stay here!

We can't thank the Koru Krew enough for helping us pull off the best weekend ever! Highly recommend the Beach Klub to any future Outer Banks bride & groom. The venue is a dream with the most beautiful backdrop of the ocean-- our guests could not stop gushing!
We had our rehearsal dinner at Pangea - the staff was incredibly friendly & patient with our big crazy group, the atmosphere was perfect, and the food was out of this world.
Our ceremony was on the beach and the cocktail hour/reception was in the pavilion/around the pool by the tiki bar. The ambiance of the tiki bar, pool, ocean and sunset really just doesn't get any better. The lighting in the pavilion is awesome & perfect for a dance party! There's also plenty of space around the venue to add your own personal touches for decor. The pavilion is a really nice option to have in case of rain! We were lucky to have a gorgeous day :)
Again, we can't thank the Koru Krew enough for their hard work in making our day perfect. Taylor was super helpful with coordinating and was quick to respond to my un-ending list of silly questions. Ellisa helped line up our tiki bar options and the bartenders perfectly executed the open bar.
Many of our guests, including us on our wedding night, stayed in the Koru Villas - we highly recommend those, as well! Very clean & up-to-date. Our guests loved using the pool during their stay and have all spoken highly of their experiences. Thanks again, you guys!

My husband and I are both grew up in the area, yet finding a venue that was perfect for us was still a daunting task. However, as soon as we toured the facility with a Koru Village staff member it was clear that this was the perfect spot for our wedding. The venue combines the wonderful aspects of a beach wedding (your pictures will be beautiful here) with all of the comfortable amenities that you could expect in an indoor facility. Our coordinator, Remy Biase answered dozens of emails and phone calls to ease my mind while planning my wedding long distance. The week of our event Remy and Ellisa were so helpful, looking back on the entire experience they truly made a difference in our wedding day and I cannot thank them enough!
