I just enjoyed the millennial manicure and eyebrow waxing at the time. Amy at station number eight took good care of me. Despite the language barrier preventing much conversation, I felt comfortable and relaxed during the process. My hands and forearms feel very soft. My clear polish was applied very quickly, but it looks nice and shiny.
(Edit: my clear polish started bubbling and peeling the next day - not cool).
She did a good job on my eyebrows and offered me a mirror during the process to make sure she was doing what I wanted. A big plus is that all the metal tools used on me were sterilized, a downer is that the file was still dirty. Overall, I will opt to try a different place if in the area again.

I got my nails done on a Friday and by that follows Tuesday they were peeling so I went back on Thursday so they could fix them. They painted over the original polish and by Saturday they were peeling again so I went back and they took the polish off 3 of my nails and painted them again, by Tuesday they were peeling AGAIN!!!! I usually get my nails done at LA Nails in Yarmouth and I never have a problem, I do dishes and work in the garden and it doesn't harm my nails at all.

Never thought I’d be posting a comment like this..... I was completely insulted by the ??? Owner/Supervisor if this South Portland location - which had the supervisor/owner of the Forest Ave Portland location on site when I came in on Sunday - who had told me in the past I can request my Shellac to be soaked off instead of the drilling..... as it was causing DAMAGE TO MY NAIL BEADS!!
She stated it would take longer .. just request the soaking to start before picking out my color to save time.
Understood.
So I have been requesting this.
The last 2 times now when I’ve gone in they have been frustrated with me and thinking I’m not seeing this. Well guess what? Body language goes along way with language I don’t understand!!!
So Sunday I go in and they refused me service.
Telling me they have to drill off the Shellac.
I advised I understood they have to prep with the drill but not remove.... They stated it would take 2 hours. I told him no it doesn’t... it’s 15 mins to soak .... “he stated we can’t do!”
And waved me off!!!
I WILL NEVER BE BACK!!!!!!

Donna was absolutely amazing! She asked about my kids and my job made me feel like iv been going there for years. Will definitely be going back to see her again!!

Couldn't be more upset the lady was rude to me. While my nails looked all right when I left they they needed a fill and under a week. This was a brand new fresh set and it made me regret getting them done there.
It's really unfortunate because I won't be going back and I used to really like this place
