They do great eyebrows, however nails not so much. The shop always looks dirty and the tools the used looked unsanitary. There is dust every where on everything. They need to clean up.

If I could give Sun Nails with zero stars, I would. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!!! I went in randomly because I was in the area and I asked for the gel nail polish. Lee sloppily polished my nails and they hurt under the light, which has never happened. Then, they cracked that same day. I went back in to get them redone and he damaged my nails removing the polish. He applied the gel polish again, this time more neatly, but still messy. He didn't apply a base coat. Again, the same day, the polish cracked. I had an extremely hard time removing this polish from my nails. I soaked them in acetone and chipped away bit by bit for a week to still have this mess on my nails. I went to my regular salon to have them removed and they told me whoever did this to my nails is an idiot. My nails are now severely damaged and I was instructed to refrain from gel nails for at least 3 months.

They didn't cut my cuticles before they put the overlay on my nails, when i asked, I was told it wasn't necessary. They didn't have a broad range of color choices, & in fact I had to pick a color I wasn't fond of b/c the 1st polish I choose was an empty bottle. Next, I wanted a matte polish, so they put a matte overcoat on the color I picked but there was no top coat put on that. The polish ended up rubbing off the next day and anytime my hands were in water there would be a grey residue on my nails. I went back to the shop to see what they could do and they said that's just what happens. I only went to this place b/c it was close by, next time I would just go to my regular nail shop.

The only reason this place received 1 star is because they don't let you pick zero. I'm originally from California, and was looking for a good place to get a gel set and pedi done. The male manicurist did a rush job, my nails weren't filed straight and the powder was clumped on so thick and wasn't filed down to a natural look. When I brought it to his attention, he said they were fine. I was so pissed, I asked for my money back for my pedi and walked out. I ended up going to Tina's nails on Jefferson Blvd, and she removed the gel and re-shaped my nails at a discount. Sun nail salon is horrible and need to close down immediately!

I liked absolutely nothing about this place. No one can do nails. Talk more than work. Very unprofessional. Rude. Just plain nasty. My dog receives better treatment at the groomer. Run!!!!! Go to Kihn Do Nails on Gravois. Rating NO STAR
