Today was my first visit and I am looking forward to going back. The staff is friendly and Amy Lieu was my technician. Very thorough and the spa is extremely clean without the odor of typical nail salons. I truly felt pampered!

My mom and I love going here when we're really stressed out. Pretty much everyone who works here knows how to take care of you and how to curtail services to the client.
There are a few exceptions. After one bad experience, I choose to no longer let any of the males there work on me. The female gender as a whole is usually pretty intuitive and better at reading emotions/reactions even if there is a language barrier. But that one bad experience would not affect my rating of 5 stars. I would give 10 if I could!

My bridesmaids and I went to this salon the day before my wedding and it was the WORST experience I have ever had. First they rush us to pick colors even though it wasn't busy in the salon. I get some lady who thinks talking and texting on her phone is more important than the quality of my nails. Once she rushed and finished my polish she sends me to get my pedicure where I waited for 25 minutes for ANOTHER (rude) lady to begin. The pedicure lasted maybe 8 min and they charged me $28. $28 freaking dollars for this lady to take my polish off and put new on. Not even scrub my feet, massage my legs, nothing. Bottom line is don't go to this salon. My nails were horrible for my wedding and the manager just told me it's a learning experience for their employees.

I've been going to Healthy Nail Spa since 2014. I've found that the salon is consistently clean, tidy and comfortable. The only reason I've rated my review four stars is that sometimes the skill of the technicians fluctuates from great to average. One of my favorite technicians is Kelly; I highly recommend her for gel/SNS manicures/pedicures. The pricing is reasonable for the DC metro area. I find myself returning to this salon whenever my nails need attention, even though I live in NW DC.

I think this place is average. I am getting a pedicure and manicure right now and it’s $50. I think that’s really overpriced for the basic service. Overall the people is clean and quiet.
