I’ve been coming here on and off throughout the last two years. The place is a true hit or miss ... lately much more of a complete miss. The only reason I went today was because Polished Nails was completely booked, Jivana is close to home and desperately needed to replace 3 nails.
You can see from the photos attached that my nails were left completely flat and lumpy. In addition, the simple design that I asked for was a complete mess. Jacob’s first attempt was an epic fail, however, I patiently said “don’t worry - just find larger foil flakes and I’m okay with two colors if need be”. I watched him struggle and still never got it right. Then to top it off had the nerve to charge me $50 for the “nail design”. What nail design??? Foiled flakes??? I have a business of my own and never get on to write negative reviews but today was just unacceptable. I left paying $100 for nails that I now have to still find a professional nail tech to correct the unevenness he left on my nails. I’m addition, you can see how careless he was - he there’s also green speckles left in my nails.
The place has overall just fallen to pieces and the professionalism is at it’s lowest ever. I highly do NOT recommend.

This use to be my favorite spot. I understand there's been lots of changes ever since the PANDEMIC. The actual owner sold the spa. There's new Management/Owner as well staff, eventhough they still have some current staff. Every time I get a staff who does a wonderful job of doing Gel Manicure and Signature Spa Pedicure upon me returning 2 - 3 weeks later, they no longer working at Jivana Nails & Spa. My last visit I requested regular manicure and pedicure since there's no one in my opinion can do what I really want. The Manager appointed one for me. After doing and finishing the spa request, I went to the front desk to check out. Previously the nail technician quote me a price and the front desk Manager quoted me a different price. I asked why I was charge different? The Manager explained, I requested to remove/buff the bottom of my foot which is an additional charge as well the spa charge an additional amount for Gel nails remover. I explained the nail technician never explained to me about any request that may be charged additional, before doing anything to the customers they should always explain these options and it will be the customers if they want to proceed with the process. My opinion it was very unprofessional and no communication involved with customers. Most likely, I will be looking for another nail spa where I will feel satisfied with my manicure and pedicure. 😖😠 I forgot to mention, the place needs lots of cleaning and sanitizing. I see some staff clean their area but some don't. Bathroom is a must as well the nail station definitely needs to be clean and sanitize.

I have been going to this salon for a couple months, I usually get either a gel manicure and/or pedicure, sometimes only gel polish since I do my own manicures. For the most part, every person I’ve done services with there have been great. I’m also not a picky or complicated person and chances are I won’t complain even if I’m not 100% satisfied. But this time I was assigned to a lady who was rushing the entire time and didn’t even do a good job. She left about 1/4 of my nails without paint, like the edges. A lot of nail techs usually leave a gap between your nail and your cuticle which I get and I never complain about that, but this lady left the edges of my nails without paint, like the sides and it was very noticeable and they were large gaps, so I told her and I pointed it out so that she can fix it…. she tried to fix it a couple times then asked me if I liked it and I was honest and told her no, expecting her to be understanding and maybe start over. Instead, she started to pick up everything, ripped the sticky note off the table aggressively that had my name and the service I wanted, walked to the front and I guess told the staff at the
front desk that she didn’t want to service me. I’m sharing my experience because the customer is supposed to be happy with the service they’re paying for, not treated poorly or like they’ve done something wrong. They even tried to tell me that it’s becasue I wasn’t doing a manicure and I chose white, so it’s hard for them to paint the edges…. NO, that’s not true because I’ve never experienced this. I’m not even a loud person, I didn’t cause a seen, I simply told them why I didn’t like the job she did. I thank the guy who fixed my nails but I won’t be going back.

This place is super clean. You don’t have to wait too long and service is ok.

So I have gone to this salon for years. But the service has really declined. I have strong nails so I ask for regular polish. The lady kept insisting I get gel. I said no regular polish. I chose a color and of course it was harden. Instead of getting a new one she put drops of acetone. Then she didn't know how to do coffin shape. She ruined my natural nails because her English was not good. Within a day my nails chipped. 60 dollars down the drain.
