I have been coming here RELIGIOUSLY and LOYALLY for the past two years and I have to say, I’ve never left Elva Salon disappointed! My most recent visit BLEW ME AWAY! I never expect to be treated better than last time but I’m always wrong. Jimmie took my disgusting, bitten, swollen, hang nailed, tiny nubs and turned my hand into a beautiful piece of art. I always get compliments everywhere I go when I get my nails done here. Thank you so much!

Well when I first entered the shop, I was not greeted probably because I was black in a predominately white neighborhood. I just got my nails done on Monday night (gel polish) and they look horrible. I came in before 6pm (my appointment time) and still had to wait 20 minutes before I could sit down. The nail tech was rushing because they close at 7 and he was struggling to get the polish out of the bottle because they ran out (I could have picked a different color if I was given the option too). My nails looked worse once I got home; the lines are not clean and I have polish all on my cuticles/skin/sides of finger nails (can't get it off because it is gel and the polish on my nail would come off too if I tried) Some parts of my nails are not completely painted and I didn't realize that until I got home. Plus, the polish has chipped a bit on my pointer finger.
