This time at Avalon Institute, I came in for a vibrant coloring with the wonderful hairdresser Erica! We started with my natural hair color that was previously lightened at another salon. Our first step was to lighten the base to create an even color in order to create such a beautiful and vibrant ocean blue/green. After the lightener, I had a wonderful shampoo/wash, whereafter we got to set the final color! Once the color was applied, she trimmed my hair upon my request to help maintain a healthy head of hair, and got to do some cool short buzzing on the sides of my head. All in all, Erica is a fantastic hairdresser and I am left feeling incredibly impressed! If you want any color done, be sure to come visit Erica at the Avalon Institute- she is very friendly and does a fantastic job with everything in between!

Philsenia was AMAZING, she made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Making sure i knew what products went in and how they would help my hair! Thank you so much! got a beautiful red color with no bleaching necessary!

I was nervous about getting highlights in my hair only because everywhere I had gone before, I ended up with bright orange hair.
The 1st time I came in, Dominique recognized that i had damage to my hair and expressed her concerns of more damage, that i wouldn't get the desired look I wanted.
She suggested that we cut some length off and start the recovery process of health hair (hair mask) before any highlights were done.
Two months later, it was time to do a test strand, and even though my hair could have used more time to recover, i couldn't wait any longer.
Dominique really took the time to understand the desired look. I was going for. (noticeable but subtle and no Orange)
My hair feels the healthiest it's ever been, and the compliments on my hair have been endless!
I highly recommend making an appointment with Dominique at Avalon Institute.

Both my wife and myself would like to thank Megan Larson for the best cut I've ever got from a student at Avalon beauty school. We've been customers at Avalon for over 10 yrs. Megan specializes in razor cuts, and I highly recommend you give this a try. The razor gives you a stylish and edgy look that provides movement and a really cool look that a scissor cut may not always give you. Besides getting a great cut she's also fun to talk to, and we always have a great time when we see her. Please check her out now before she graduates and her price goes up.
