I had my nails done about two weeks ago with a friend. She has been going there for a few months now and because of her well done nails I decided to give it a try. Yes, it has been two weeks, but as you can see in my last photograph her nails are fully intact and still look great. Starting at week one my nails slowly lifted at the cuticle. None of my nails have broken off, they all lifted cuticle. It is as if they were not prepared properly. When I called to let them know what had happened I was told “A lot of people have not been happy” and that “It has been two weeks hunny.” They also stated that they would fix the four nails that have now lifted off at no cost, but I need to pay for a fill and polish. I have gotten my nails done plenty of times before, I know it is recommended to go every two weeks, but I don't feel this should be happening, nor has it ever happened to me before. Also, this happened while we were at the salon. My friend was given no time to pick her color because they wanted her to sit immediately and she told her nail tech that she had not yet found a color. When I arrived I gave her the sample nails with all of the gel colors and she picked the number she wanted. When it was time for her nails to be painted she had to go grab the color. Since all of their colors have numbers and are never in order, she could not find her color. It had been a few minutes so she tried to open a few and see what color was close to the one she picked. (Because we all want to be happy with the color we will be seeing on our nails for the next two or more weeks.) At this point the worker shouted to her in front of the entire salon "HURRY UP!" Now, me being a person who works in a business, the first thing I would have done was ask if she needed any assistance finding the color she wanted. My friend was very upset and embarrassed, yet still gave her a $10 tip for a job well done. I am not one to bash on any business because things happen, but when you are confronted with a problem (one that is not cheap for us women) and you do not recognize the underlying issue, then I am angry!

I was literally there 3 hours to get my nails done. He kept getting up to do other people's nails also while doing mine.
