I love this place. Lily does a awesome job on my nails. I'm such a fanatic about my nails and she puts up with me. I will not go anywhere else...

I went in for a simple manicure. Just to get a polish and neaten up the cuticles because I have a job interview tomorrow. The lady missed areas of nails and on other fingers left tons of paint on my fingers. When I nicely brought this to her attention and asked her to please fix this she got all defensive and rude. She started telling me its because my nails are short (she cut them short). I said my nails are always roughly this short and have never have had this issue before. Tells me the part where I am saying she missed the nail was really skin, I showed her it was not the skin. She then continues to go on with an attitude/rude demeanor "I know how to do nails." I never said she didn't-all I wanted was for her to fix them before I left. She then fixed the missed areas of the nails. I pointed out the paint that was left all over the skin, and she continued to tell me its because my nails are short and then eventually that it is because of the color. I understand that the skin might be tinged/stained with paint since it is a dark color, but I should not have paint chunks on my skin that were never even attempted to be removed. I left with paint from the brush on the skin and still missed parts of my nails despite her "fixing" it. She then walked up to me as I'm sitting with my hands under the drier and goes with a rude tone of voice "Can I put the paint back now?".
This may seem to some like I am extremely picky or over-the-top, but all I expect when I am paying for a manicure (which I do not do often since I am a college student on a tight budget), is to paint the entire nail, clean up the cuticles without cutting me, and to remove the excess chunks of paint from the skin after painting. I am understanding that a dark color does tend to stain the skin, but one can get the chunks of paint off the skin after painting.

They did a really great job on both my pedi and mani. The mani lasted 5 days!
