I took my niece here to get a mani and pedi. I got one as well. The staff is very friendly and they do a great job! The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing! We have been here before and we will definitely come back! Thank you!

Call me Debra, ford flex owner, mother of 3 - I don't even care: I am completely dissatisfied with the service I received at JC Nail today. I went in for a simple, one color, dip-manicure. They were busy and said I could be waiting as long as an hour, which I was fine with. However, I was there for almost 2 1/2 hours. I picked out a color that was on an unmarked spool, and I wasn't sure if it was a color option for dip but I asked about it. Their answer to me was that the color was not a dip color but they could put a dip coating over it, which sounded fine to me. I'm not a nail tech, so when they gave me that answer in a nonchalant manner and then made no mention of an extra charge, I assumed it was a routine process that would take about the same amount of time and money. Evidently I was wrong on both. Even still, the fact that it took a long time and cost more money really wouldn't have bothered me too much had I walked out with a decent manicure. My manicurist got up a total of four times to do personal things, not to get clean tools or anything else job-related. She got slightly aggressive flipping my hand around and looked upset, as if I was doing something wrong but when I asked if she needed me to maneuver my arm in some way she replied that I was fine. She never trimmed my cuticles, didn't trim my nails or even ask if I wanted them trimmed. She never asked how I wanted them shaped and proceeded to ruin the previous shape that they did have. During one of her aggressive flips of my hand, she bumped a couple of my freshly dipped fingers on the table causing obvious blemishes. Her solution was to put some glitter over it that I didn't ask for and she didn't ask if I wanted. I think it was supposed to blend in with the polish but it didn't and is very noticeable. There's polish under my nails and all over the cuticles. When she looked up finally and gestured that I was done, I said "I'm done?" as I looked at their condition awkwardly. She said "It (meaning the messy polish outside of my nail bed) will go away when you wash your hands." and quickly dabbed some oil on them. Well obviously it didn't just wash away. My nails look worse than when I went in and now I'm out over $45 because I still tipped her. I get that this seems like an unnecessary novel to write over a bad experience at the nail salon. However, it's really about the principle of it. I work and go to school full time so if I'm ever able to muster up the time and (upwards of) $50 for a manicure sometime, I just want it to at least be decent looking. All I wanted was a basic dip manicure that looked better than if I had done it myself at home with my left hand. I didn't receive so much as the basics of the service, let alone a little lotion, or god forbid a 2 minute hand massage. I'm disappointed and simply can't afford to go back to JC nails. PS: I'm pretty sure most of the 5 star reviews on here are fake.

I love the blue cat eye gel nail polish! Surprisingly, it actually lasted for almost 2 weeks. I work for full at a gas station cleaning overnights with some chemicals, and the gel nail polish definently handled very beautifully!!! Got a lot of compliments. Can't wait to go back and get my nails done again!
